They forget what the bible says when it time to get revenge on another black person though.
1. Paula Deen shared a story of her using the N-word in 1986 after a black person put a gun to her head in a robbery. She can remember that story but she can't remember if Lisa Jackson told her about her brother's issues between 2005-2010?! GTFOH! She told a story that she knew nobody would really blame her for using the n-word. I'm willing to bet Paula Deen has used the N-word since 1986.
2. Y'all bringing up George Jefferson using the H-word from a TV show in the 70's/80's and trying to compare it events that happened in 2005-2012?! REal events...vs. a tv show. Really?! I dont' see it.
3. Just because YOU accept the double standard that Black folks use the N-word so why can't others doesn't mean every person/black person accepts it. So dont' expect everyone (me) to turn a blind eye when the word is used towards me or when a situation arises that I feel is insulting or disrespectful. You just be sure to turn that blind eye when it happens towards you
4. THe media is choosing to focus on Paula Deen's use of the N-word to move the story but she's being accused of wayyyy more harmful stuff than that weak ass story she told of using the N-Word in 1986. In 2012 she ewas speaking at an event and she called up a black man and told him he was as black as the back board; don't stand in front of the black board or we won't see you. The Entire room started laughing. That was in 2012. Really?! :shame:
:tup:It is amazing what a degree, a white collar job and a house in the middle to upper class neighborhood can do for the mentality of a African American. Yet we will rather destroy each other and blame each other for every bad thing in this country. Many of us are not far from going to school in the 80s or 90's in the south where we still used out of date textbooks, under funded schools and most of the folks kids are not on the second generation of educated kids yet. We have not come as far as you folks wanna admit, you just wanna turn the other cheek because you have so called made it.
But, it's expected, cause she's an old white woman from the south. It's the black man's fault for being so dark that Paula made that remark about the black board. Forgive Paula.I saw that video and was shaking my head. Almost like he was her slave. She has a slave owner mentality.

I don't recall anyone on here saying that they were accepting of Paula Dean using the N word or any of her off color racist jokes. I most certainly don't. However, I do think it's a bit hypocritical that there are different rules for different races. It goes all ways, some where the majority gets away with certain things, and some ways where the minority gets away with certain things. That's all I'm saying. Trust me, if one of my non-black friends uses the N word in reference to me, they will get checked, and promptly, LOL!! There are all sorts of double standards, between different races, between males and females, in corporate America, etc. I never said if I thought they were right or wrong. All I said was that it's a double standard. As an example, I've dealt with a lot of people in the past from LSU that had me wanting to fight them for some of things they said, however when I worked at SU for 6 years, I heard things that were said that were just as bad, so it goes both ways, maybe not equally, but it does go both ways. As another example, when you have one race of people say something about a different race of people, all kinds of accusations get tossed around about them being races, even if people of that races are saying the exact same thing about their own race. If a non-black person would've started this thread, Why is it so hard to collect money from black people?, or if a non-black celebrity would say something like that on TV, some people would accuse them of being racist, even though they are saying nothing different than people in that race are saying about themselves.
This is true about the media (unfortunately). They (especially CNN) are only showing the parts they want viewers to see.
In the very same video where she referred to the black man you speak of, she said of him that he was her "brother from another father" and gave him a hug and a kiss. If people are going to judge, they need to know the whole story...not just part of it.
ss,So if someone calls your daughter/sister/mother/wife a bytch in front of you...is that okay simply b/c it's okay with her? You're going to just stand there and be cool with it right, b/c she's cool with it.

huh???
You're saying that b/c the black guy that Paula called "black as a black board" was okay with her comment...and that she felt like since they were so close he was her brother from another mother, then that makes her comment okay. Right?
We did some research and found that Hollis is Paula’s personal security manager. He also owns Above and Beyond Transportation.
RumorFix has reached out to Hollis for comment, but he hasn’t returned our calls yet.
Hollis is obviously close to the famous chef — his Twitter handle is even @hollisdeen.
They’ve been to Hooters and the Super Bowl together and last December, he posted this picture with the caption: “She loves me and I love her!!!”
Damn is that what you got out of that? Hell no...I'm not saying the comment was okay. I added to what you reported. You talked about that video in which she compared ole boy to the black board. That in fact did happen. I simply added that the news networks did not bother to show what happen after that. She stated that he was her brother from another father. That is a FACT. They embraced each other and she gave him a kiss. That too is a fact.
Now, if you want to ignore those facts so be it.
The Supreme Court struck down a part of the Voting rights act, fudged the line on Affirmative Action and on social media, ninjas are heated over Paula Deen. I think her getting kicked off of TV is a good thing, not because she is a racist (I could care less) but because she is promoting that fattening azz food she promotes.
Well then why are you in THIS thread and not the thread about the Supreme Court striking down part of the Voting Rights?!
Y"all kill me with that...

ummm SOGGY,
Which Paula Deen are you propping up---the old white woman from the south who is expected to use offensive language or the kind, gentle loving white woman who just loves black folks and called a black man her "brother from another father"? No doubt, that Paula has a best friend who is black. :scared:
bruh, don't be fooled.
