They (the writers and producers) had to do that to have an excuse to keep Tony in play. Same as getting Audrey's ex-husband shot so she can say to Jack at the end of the season "I can't leave him now, he needs me........." That'll be her excuse since she's seen what Jack does on the job.

Just caught up on the last 2 episodes before watching last nights show.
I have to say it again......Jack is the MAN!!!!
He is torturing and killing folks like crazy. Did you see how he just stabbed ole boy in the back of the head like nothing.
She didn't know who she was talking to when she went up to Michelle and telling her she wants a payraise or else. She could have waited till this thing dies down and got her record corrected and her pay raise, now she's out of a job. Just wait the whole crew is gonna be back running CTU, Jack, Tony, Michelle, the former President and Chloe.

He will be back in the last 6 hours of the show, I don't know what role he will play but remember he and Jack did some dirty stuff for the government when they were in the military together.

I saw the show last night,(I know this show is good because I turned away from a basketball game to watch 24). I was surprised that showed Jack taking out the commando the way he did. That was a definite Special Forces technique. That technique will cause instant death.
The brotha Roger Cross is doing an excellent job. I remember him from the SCI FI Channel's FIRST WAVE series. He played an legendary assasin alien. He was no joke. I'm glad to see him get a role on more popular show.

Ol' girl was wrong to go to Tony's ex-wife like that. She should have waited until the crisis was over to bring all that isht up. She did the right thing by firing her.

I'm caught up on my previous 24's and the one that came on tonight.
Sometimes I think how dumb some of the things they do in CTU and some of the field agents. How can Jack have to show ID to someone who claims they are FBI and that person doesn't have to show them anything else besides a badge. I wouldn't want to go anywhere with Jack, seems like all those folks get killed.
Oh and for those that might have missed tonights episode it will be replayed twice.

Yeah, it makes you think did the President escape in the escape pod that all the other Airforce1 planes have (in other movies, there is always a escape pod on Airforce1).
Hmm, makes you wonder when Palmer comes back will he be the new Vice-President?
If the President died and the Vice-President becomes President he has to appoint a new Vice-President. It come happen that way......

It's gonna get blown out the sky.
Once you open the bomb doors, that plane become's visable just like any other. The other F-16's know where his arse is now.
That's why he didn't answer Jack back before he reached the target.

I was screaming when last night's episode went off. I love this show. It is awesome. I want to send the writers a thank you card for bringing it into my life. :lmao:

Well I can blow that theory away.....just found out that the President did survive along with some other folks on Airforce1, but a lot of people did die including the Presidents son.
That 25th amendment comes back up and guess who's involved with it? President Palmers Chief of Staff, Mike and he does it again with the Vice President and try to get him to take the oath of office.

:topic: I finished watching Season 1 last night, also. It was awesome. Palmer's wife was nothing nice. I never would have guessed the mole. Great writing. I'mma start watching season 2 tonight.

Now last nights episode was good but they seem to think that we(viewers) are stupid. How the hell can Jack make it from LA to the desert of Nevada in 20 minutes and can't get any backup there either. Why are the terrorist so dam smart and have all the information they need in seconds. Now how do you catch one jeep and another get away from a helocopter in the middle of the night.
Like I said before anyone that goes with Jack gets killed, look at the guy that was with him last night. And why was there only 1 person with him and not a whole squad of folks.

They had a write up about this in USATODAY last week.
They, (the writers), said that this season, they would play a loose time frame on some things just to keep the show moving.
The first time this came up was when the BLOND girl that was called back to work made it from her apartment to work in 5 minutes through LA traffic.

This season is moving a little toooooo fast for me...I can't keep up. I messed around and missed a couple of episodes and now I'm lost as a goose. :xeye: I attempted to watch Monday's episode and all I could do was :smh: the entire time. I don't know WTF is going on now.

I watched Mondays show. If I was Jack I would have put some slugs in the wife for giving up the case. Then I would told her now she matches the husband.
