How many of you in here are feeling 'the bern' (Bernie Sanders)

With what has transpired so far, something ridiculous as Michael Jackson’s Hologram will be running for president……and WIN.

This is why I'm not big on Senator Sanders. He supported reparations for Holocaust survivors, but can't support reparations for slavery. I wonder just how many of his family members and himself received reparations, since his family are Jewish immigrants from Poland and Russia during the Holocaust??? I guess he doesn't mind billionaire individuals like Donald Sterling receiving a reparation check.

Four years ago, though, Sanders did support a form of reparations—not for descendants of African slaves and victims of other injustices against African-Americans, but for Holocaust survivors and the families of those who were killed.

I'm not sure what she promised, but Bernie thinks like most Jewish people think, which is the Jewish Holocaust was a lot worse than the Black Holocaust/Slavery. Also, a lot Jewish people benefited from slavery. Bernie appears to double talk a lot, because in the video, he just flat out said he didn't believe in reparations for Black people due to the free labor from slavery, but stated that Black and Latino communities need federal resources. Somehow Bernie was able to include Latinos as part of that free labor produced by Black people during slavery. IMO, Bernie's rhetoric sounds like the same old double talk rhetoric that a lot Jewish people have feed Black people for years. And during the Civil Rights Movement, a lot of Jewish people marched with us because they knew it would profit them economically in the long run. Somebody definitely needs to ask Bernie, if he doesn't believe in reparations, why he voted for reparations for Holocaust survivors???

And I'm sure WE will not be the group receiving most of the free stuff if Bernie is elected, but I'll still vote for him over any Republican candidate.
 
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned or asked, if so apologies for the repeat.
However, is it fair to say that Bernie is the Democratic/Liberal Ron Paul?
It seems he has that same following of young voters like Ron Paul, who most of are first time voters, and in my opinion don't really understand the issues and don't know most of the history of these candidates.
 
All Sanders talks about is Wall Street, the rich and super PACs, the "old man" doesn't have a Senatorial record to run on. Why doesn't Sanders ever TALK about his voting record in the Senate?

Once again, Sanders is nothing but "media hype", clinging to the media's anti-Hillary propaganda campaign!

I forgot Bloomberg said he would run if Bernie got the nomination!! I still don't see it happening though. It may sound prejudiced, but I know a few folks in Chicago who do not want to take a chance on another Jew, they already have one messing up the city, they don't want one messing up the Country.

I believe AA and white liberals are in a very precarious situation with this election. First, I am feeling Bernie but the problem is white moderates will not vote for him in the general election because he is too far to the left for their liking. The resistance in congress will be just as bad as it is with President Obama and maybe worse. The end product will be Cruz or Trump in the white house which is a huge disaster waiting to happen.

I am not too particular about Hillary Clinton but she is much better than relinquishing the executive branch to the Republicans. Hillary will say anything to get in office (she has a unique relationship with the truth btw) and the truth of the matter is she is center left. Another problem that no one knows how it will play out is this email issue that too can potentially hand over the White House to the Republicans. My recommendation is vote for your conscience but the wrong thing to do is not vote at all unless you have a burning desire to see Trump or Cruz in Pennsylvania Ave.

Reagan was a horrible President for AA and Liberal folks, slashed the BEOG Grant for college students that were going to school for basically free and basically the same people that support Cruz and Trump was his constituency. Prior to that during the Carter Administration, your had the Iran Crisis, a horrible economy and people lined up at the pump trying to get gas.....The lesser of the two necessary evils IMHO was Carter.........Don't believe the right wing hype, Jimmy Carter was no Obama......
 
Jrock, there's nothing to this email issue. Hillary broke no laws or regulations. It's all political shenanigans used to distract voters. Take it from me. I worked over 30 yrs managing highly classified government data.
 
The shenanigans are similar to the stuff they tried with President Obama, when they tried to say he was born in another country. Ironically, Donald Trump used that same rhetoric to steal the support of the far right of the Republican Party. Also, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice said they did pretty much the same thing Clinton did when they were Secretary of State. As of now, I'm still not sold on Bernie Sanders POOR Jewish politician campaign.

The issue isn't its veracity but rather the impact and perception on moderate voters that will without a doubt be an issue raised in the general election.
 
There are some serious issues I have with Bernie Sanders but imo, he is who he says he is. I may not agree with him on the reparations thing but I respect the fact that he didn't lie and pretend to be for something that he is not.

Hillary is the democratic version on Dick Cheney. She will do whatever is required to get what she wants. I don't think she had ill intentions with the email stuff but I don't think she is telling the truth either. I just think she is a flat out liar and conniving politican..

@JROCK Jimmy Carter was a terrible president, he is the reason Reagan was elected.
