Normally I'm all for the back/forth on here b/c it's entertaining but seriously...

Y'all look real foolish arguing back/forth in a thread with such an important topic as the murder of Trayvon Martin.

I heard the tapes on "Sway in the Morning" on Satellite Radio and you could Travon screaming for help, then a gun shot. If you are hurting someone...would you scream for help? I'm sick about all of this.

Yep.
They played it this morning on the Ricky Smiley show. I have never heard Ricky cuss on the air before in ANGER. He was going off.

Listening to the Michael Baisden, he played the a clip from a witness who said; "If it where Zimmerman that was yelling help, why then did his cries for help stop after the gunshot?"

Another witness said that, "Zimmerman (White shirt) was on top of Trayvon, at the same time you can hear the cries for help" Remember Zimmerman out matched Trayvon in weight!!!

And this is just two of witness/information on the tapes, but yet still the police wont do anything!!!!

I guess this is what the candidates mean when they say they are taking back America. We are returning to to good old days.

Folks are tired of BS like this with AA folks. :uzi:

Justice Department, FBI to probe shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin

Zimmerman, patrolling the neighborhood in his car, called the 911 emergency number and reported what he called "a real suspicious guy."

"This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about," Zimmerman told dispatchers, adding, "These @!$%#s. They always get away."

The dispatcher, hearing heavy breathing on the phone, asked Zimmerman: "Are you following him?"

"Yeah," Zimmerman said.

"Okay, we don't need you to do that," the dispatcher responded.

This right here is the TRUTH!!! The police need to do their job and let the lawyers/judge/Jury handle the rest!!

""It's illogical, you can claim self defense after you chase and pursue somebody," he said. "That's a courtroom defense. That's not something the police accept on the side of the street.""

So Zimmerman is saying he stepped out of his truck to check the name of the street he was on and Trayvon attacked him from behind as he got back in his truck. GTFOH!!

Zimmerman said he had stepped out of his truck to check the name of the street he was on when Trayvon attacked him from behind as he walked back to his truck, police said. He said he feared for his life and fired the semiautomatic handgun he was licensed to carry because he feared for his life.
***************************

First off...he's lying (as we all know). If you listen tot his 911 call, you can tell when he gets out the car (before the dispatcher asks) b/c you can hear the wind blowing across the phone. He's following Trayvon on foot for a while. Punk ass!

here's the official statement from the DOJ:
“The department will conduct a thorough and independent review of all of the evidence and take appropriate action at the conclusion of the investigation,” the Justice Department said in a statement. “The department also is providing assistance to and cooperating with the state officials in their investigation into the incident. With all federal civil rights crimes, the government must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a person acted intentionally and with the specific intent to do something which the law forbids — the highest level of intent in criminal law.
“Negligence, recklessness, mistakes and accidents are not prosecutable under the federal criminal civil rights laws.”

Is that last sentence a "normal" sentence in a statement? B/c it worries me...makes me think they aren't going to arrest Zimmerman.

I keep telling yall, these white hicks are on a mission. It is in their genes, yet we think because we have inclusion we have diversity. Reminds me o this diversity thing this company had a couple of weeks ago titled "The role of the white male in Corporate America and diversity". :shame:

I don't listen to morning radio and I haven't heard the 911 tape, but did he say "these nig...They always get away. "

If Zimmerman doesn't get murder in the first degree, I can predict some ugly mental and legal precedents being set up in many minds. After hearing the 911 tape, Zimmerman was CLEARLY wrong.

:smh:

So many lives affected by this one asshole...

http://abcnews.go.com/US/trayvon-martin-death-friend-phone-teen-death-recounts/story?id=15959017

In the final moments of his life, Trayvon Martin was being hounded by a strange man on a cellphone who ran after him, cornered him and confronted him, according to the teenage girl whose call logs show she was on the phone with the 17-year-old boy in the moments before neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman shot him dead

ABC News was there exclusively as the 16-year-old girl told Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump about the last moments of the teenager's life.

"He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on. He said he lost the man," Martin's friend said. "I asked Trayvon to run, and he said he was going to walk fast. I told him to run but he said he was not going to run."

Eventually he would run, said the girl, thinking that he'd managed to escape. But suddenly the strange man was back, cornering Martin.

"Trayvon said, 'What, are you following me for,' and the man said, 'What are you doing here.' Next thing I hear is somebody pushing, and somebody pushed Trayvon because the head set just fell. I called him again and he didn't answer the phone."

The line went dead. Besides screams heard on 911 calls that night as Martin and Zimmerman scuffled, those were the last words he said.

Trayvon's phone logs, also obtained exclusively by ABC News, show the conversation occurred five minutes before police first arrived on scene. The young woman's parents asked that her name not be used, and that only an attorney could ask her questions

Zimmerman violated major principles of the Neighborhood Watch manual, ABC News has learned. The manual from the Neighborhood Watch program states: "It should be emphasized to members that they do not possess police powers. And they shall not carry weapons or pursue vehicles."

According to Chris Tutko, the director of the National Neighborhood Watch program, there are about 22,000 registered watch groups nationwide, and Zimmerman was not part of a registered group, which police were not aware of at the time of the incident.

I don't listen to morning radio and I haven't heard the 911 tape, but did he say "these nig...They always get away. "

Right before the 911 dispatcher told this fool NOT TO FOLLOW THIS KID. That tape blows everything this murderer and the police have said completely away. That 911 tape is the saddest shat I have heard in a long time MH. :smh:

The police in that town need to be investigated by the FBI also. As far as I'm concerened, they covered up a murder. :smh:

These folk know what they are doing. Where are the local leaders and politicians at? Had this been a reverse role even the President of the USA would have been involved.

The police had Trayvon's phone but didn't even attempt to find his family/next of kin they just bagged him and sent him to morgue as "John Doe". When his father contacted 911 about his son missing, the NEXT DAY the police went to his house and showed him a picture of Trayvon with blood coming out of his mouth...

This further proves to ME that all the police saw was another dead black boy.

“He said that Tray was gone.”

That’s how Sybrina Fulton, her voice full of ache, told me she found out that her 17-year-old son, Trayvon Martin, had died. In a wrenching telephone call, the boy’s father, who had taken him to visit a friend, told her that Trayvon had been gunned down in a gated townhouse community in Sanford, Fla., outside Orlando.

“He said, ‘Somebody shot Trayvon and killed him.’ And I was like, ‘Are you sure?’ ” Fulton continued in disbelief. “I said ‘How do you know that’s Trayvon?’ And he said because they showed him a picture.”

That was Feb. 27, one day after Trayvon was shot. The father thought that he was missing, according to the family’s lawyer, Benjamin Crump, but the boy’s body had actually been taken to the medical examiner’s office and listed as a John Doe.

The father called the Missing Persons Unit. No luck. Then he called 911. The police asked the father to describe the boy, after which they sent officers to the house where the father was staying. There they showed him a picture of the boy with blood coming out of his mouth.

the family’s lawyer, told me, “You know, if Trayvon would have been the triggerman, it’s nothing Trayvon Martin could have said to keep police from arresting him Day 1, Hour 1.”
sad but true.
