Like the domed stadium, the kids are still playing that's my car that's your car game. LOL!!!!
Y'all keep throwing this around that SU is the only school that is under 50% subsidized. But when you look closely at your numbers, SU receives more subsidies than we do. A little over a $1M more than JSU does.

Veterans Memorial Stadium is better than anything Mumford will ever see when it comes to upgrades.
But per USA Today, SU's non-subsidized revenue out generated jSU's non-subsidized revenue by $2,008,516 in 2013-14.

That's great. Neither of those numbers look good. But it does not refute the fact that you receive more subsidies.

LOL @ y'all with these budgets. Y'all acting like these schools -- who have to answer to the federal government -- just fudge up the numbers constantly.
So why not use the figures the schools report to the feds as a guide post for your arguments.
Those numbers are bogus. Do you truly believe that not a single dollar was donated to Jackson? Come on people.
...and? What those numbers mean? Nothing.
That neither school will be building $250+ million domed stadium any time soon.

nice diversion but not the point....
Their lack of evidence for their numbers doesn't make these numbers any more factual.Do you really believe the numbers jSU folks posted on here without providing any source of where those numbers came from???

Yep. Any SWAC school that does it (that has a realistic shot at it) would be the FBS version of TnSU.
For example, if SU did it, I can't see them eliminating the BC so most like JSU and/or Alcorn would rotate off the schedule.
SU - Right now the best fan base but needs to bump up that enrollment/athletic budget
ASU - Has the facilities and the budget as a bottom tier FBS Sun belt school. Internal issues have to be fixed
TxSU - In the H-town market. Same category as ASU as far as budget but needs more fan base interest
PV - Same as TxSU. Budget would need a bump but they are getting the stadium
Everyone else (maybe outside of AAMU sicne they are a half mil behind PV) is pipe dreaming at this point
SWAC Athletic Budgets (2014)
Alabama A&M: $7.6 million
Alabama State: $11.7 million
Alcorn State: $6.3 million
Arkansas-Pine Bluff: $6.5 million
Grambling State: $7.1 million
Jackson State: $6.0 million
Mississippi Valley State: $4.4 million
Prairie View A&M: $8.1 million
Southern: $8.6 million
Texas Southern: $10.2 million
I don't think JSU posted anything. It was
This is the beginning of the Madnesss. No one from JSU. LOL
I think your information is old. Jsu budget is round $7million and SU is mid $7million
Are you saying jSU's folks haven't been throwing out numbers?
I am saying that we didn't Start it LOL
