THose are on from the HBO website about the season. Nothing new there or no mild spoilers, they've been playing those for a few months now.

I posted this thread to hype up TSPN Wire fans for the final season premiering on 31st (HBOonDemand) and Jan. 6. I stated them as mild spoilers because while nothing major is revealed, there several things in the trailer which leaves Wire fans to discuss what they think will happen in the final season. Just to name a few:

The one and only Avon throwing up the Baltimore west side sign....

Marlo doesn't seem to be as cool and laid back as he once was...

High levels of frustration within the B.P.D........

Newspaper headlines of Sen. Clay Davis being investigated.....


I do know that this trailer along with prequels about Omar, Prop Joe, & McNulty/Bunk have been around for sometime (as well as the synopsis of every episode that is scheduled to air in Jan.)...There is other stuff out there that is not hard to find at all which reveals much more than the trailer...again I just created this thread to continue to get everyone hype about the one of the few things thats worth watching consistently on TV these days.....the mild/warning is for those who still do not want to know anything until the season starts.....

Me too....... :tup:

I watched the 30 minute behind the scene show "The Wire - The Last Word" which talked about the role of the media in the show. This will be what this season is about together with all of the other people we've come to love about this show.
 
The Wire season 5 now on the net

...so far the first 7 episodes have hit the net already. I already watched episode 1 and im getting episode 2 now.

I am sure I can get the whole season from my barbershop and that is what I am gonna do because every dayum week that I went in there I had a make a friggin disclaimer: PLEASE do not discuss "The Wire" while I am in here. But then some jackass would stroll in and start discussing it anyway.
When Michael killed ummm (can't think of the spittin dude's name), I was not shocked at all and I was pissed!!

Yeah, everyone thought it was Mike......remember Marlo told Chris to put Mike on it, then they agreed not to b/c they felt his first kill should be someone he didn't know. Michael was previously working Bodie's corner with Naymon for a while.

Yeah, I might need that location since we've moved into our new building and we won't get our satilitte hooked up until they officially sign for the building. I will have the DVR recording it to watch when I can get a chance.

Don't forget season 4......

Just finished watching(again) the last episode of season 4 sunday on HBO. We bought season 1 a few days ago to go with season 3&4 that we already had in the collection. Still debating on purchasing season 2 just to have the whole collection.

Just like last season advanced copies that were sent to critics have already gotten out You knew it was only a matter of time before the first 7 episodes sent to the critics for screening got out there....and it happened so quick this year.......oh well........

certain websites make you register and then register a tracker for the torrent download. This allows the guys running the site to help keep the torrents clean.

Fiyah, Season 4 was the only year I saw in "real time".

I could have bought the first 6 of season 5 in the barber shop on Thursday but ole boy wanted $20. I got seasons 1, 2, and 3 for $30. I was not about to pay $20 for just a few episodes. Had he said $5, we would have had a deal...:lmao:
