im late with this cuz frosty answered it for me, but i mean when i was there, no one from the percussion section wanted to do it, but i see things change over time. im proud of em!

Back in the day, you had to be physically attractive before you could try out to be a J-Settes, I think the today's requirements have been a bit relaxed.

I wonder were the DMs picked because of the leadership abilities, or because they're all the same height.....

Look at that pic of the five of 'em...
They all look alike....

I guess long-gone are the days of the 'short' JSU DM.....

Oh well, I wonder can any of them LEAD.....

Guess it really doesn't matter..

They're judged on how well they look, march and dance anyway.....

I'll tell you what IS changed. All 3 of these threads have been merged into one, which is what shoulda been done to start with. Now YOU deal with THAT!!!

It was separted because it was 2 different DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday and Sunday.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least it is still 3 separate topics on swac fans and the 5th Quarter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now deal with that>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>PARTNER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday......1st Round J-Sette Tryouts

Sunday....2nd Round J-Sette Cuts
Drum Major Tryouts

I deal with the Schools Sports Information Directors/ Athletic Directors then.

But Friday pictures from Friday's ARE NOT the same thing........

I really DO NOT know know why now all of the sudden it is a BIG deal...........

Because like for the fall when I cover the Legion Field Double Header....
Do you think that I will make ONE topic for SU vs FAMU and Miles College vs Tuskegee.......No.....


Even if it is the same day....Cause you have to seperate that.....
