Why can?t yall let that man have his opinion? If he likes A&M then he just likes us. I don?t think JSU has a great band, they are good but not great but TP thinks they are the best. Who am I to disagree with him? That?s his opinion.

Yeah cause I dont think AAMU have a good band, I think its decent but not SWAC material. Although I do think they are good at playing Happy Day but thats it. So thats right everyone is entitle to their opinion.

How is tellin the truth stupid? Don't you think it's more stupid to ignore the truth? I thought so.

Kobe called. He said bring his "draws" back that you stole from his locker as he was cleaning it out for the seaon. He says he thought he saw you sniffing them, but didn't realize that you took them with you. When he came back with security...they were gone and so were you!

Take the man his draws back! I've heard of fans, but dayum!!!

What does this dayum post have to do with King Kobe? You gettin posts mixed up, I see.

Wait a minute... where is.... nevermind. :D

Dude, those beating mean nothing to me or anyone at JSU. We know why we lost and you know why you won. Now, that Bell is gone...:smash:

Also, that 1995 team that you beat won the championship but we were breaking in a slew of new starters in their first game. We struggled that entire year.
We won that title by the skin of our teeth...LOL

JR.....
Yes AAMU did. But that was the 98 AAMU team not the 2006 team. LOL. And since they were D-2 and in transition to 1AA, they were just like PB when they first came back to the SWAC. LOADED with players that may have not been eligible to play at the 1-AA level. Plus they ran that damn option stuff that SU had not seen. I give them props for that win though in Huntsville.

You ever notice when some folks get that azz whooped.......they've always got some lame azzed excuse as to why it happened........any cheese & crackers to go with ALL OF THIS WHINE? :smh:

Uh Dude are you obsessed with my posts? Hell I gave AAMU props for the win. But it aint no secret that SU had not seen the option in the SWAC before 98 and it isn't no secret that was AAMU's transitional year in the SWAC and you guys had a different type of talent then. It is mighty strange once Pete adjusted to the option that he had no issues beating AAMU for several years after 98. Geez......... can't we have our own opinions. BTW, what does the white man vs the Indian analogy have to do with this.

MD,
Sorry about that...........back to the topic.

Good post JROCK.

Geez......... can't we have our own opinions.

That's what I wondered when tp had so much to say about JagBR's opinion.

Funny no one addressed that issue, but that is so typical of anything with this forum. I've really come to expect it, and would be suprised if it didn't happen.

:(

Say MD...looks like that "best average school" mess you used to say is null and void for your beloved Bulldogs, judging by the last 10 years...so are you gonna start referring to AAMU as the "best above-average school"?

But you, in your infinite wisdom, should've known a little better than starting a thread like this because folks in here would turn it into something totally different.

As you can see some folks are very protective for various reaons as expressed by their comments. The way I came up with the best average school in America is that I looked at Division 1 and Division 1AA football conference standings and each week AAMU did better than most teams playing college ball. It was not about the SWAC but based on the nation.

The best criteria for coming up with the ten best BCF Teams thus far has been submitted by JROCK. His research eliminates any seat of the pants argument. But the next step is can we all agree with what he posted. We could use his research to establish the 1-10 rating if we can all agree.

JROCK this is what I am looking for. Now I would like to know if everyone agrees with this list.

How are you going to manipulate this JRock's original post and say this is what you are looking for. I am sure you already know that you cut Bama State off; they were tied for 10th place in JRock's original post.

Did you read JROCK's post after MD's quote? JROCK said he went back and edited his own post to ADD ASU. MD did not take them off, he only quoted what JROCK originally posted.

You are not following the thread. I asked those who post on the board to come up with the 10 Best BCF Teams over the last ten years. JROCK is the only one that attempted to identify what he thought was the best 10 teams. Base on comments and replys from so many others they did not identify the 10 best teams. If you will notice they made their selection based on the Best Team by year rather than selecting the Best BCF Teams over the last ten years which only produced 6-7 teams. Now based on these facts JROCK is the only one that came up with a list of ten. The answer that I am seeking is: Do you agree with JROCK selection?

Can anyone come up with anything other than what JROCK posted? Can any challenge his winning precentages?

4) Winston Salem .581

I think this is a good way to determine the top teams.

Say MD,

IWhen you said Pick the 10 best teams, I thought you were asking for the best ball clubs within those 10 years...not football programs over the last 10-year span.

I think that's what everybody else put..

Now I would prefer JROCK's winning percentages to determine the statistically best 10 programs in that 10-year program.

The best 10 teams..well that was what the majority of the posts of this thread were about.

TP, unless you can raise a good argument or justification the 10 Best Black College Football teams have been selected. But know you a Stop Sign means slow down.

1) Hampton U. .741
2) Southern U. .681
3) Florida A&M .655
4) Grambling St. .652
5) Bethune Cookman .649
6) Alabama A&M .609

8) North Carolina A&T .539

T-10) Tennessee State .513
T-10) Alabama State .513

The next questions:

1. Do you think these are the best Head Coach Jobs in BCF?

2. Do you think Head Coaches at these school average salary should be no less than $200,000 to $250,000 a year?

What is this? Winning percentage or Sagarin rating? Also, we answered MD's question and NO winning percentage is NOT the way to look at it.

Ok how can you judge them fairly. Do you determine base on common opponents or what. Honestly, how you judge one year from another? What do you base it on? I just dont know how you can judge teams over a period of time.
