As long as Golden State has the make up of players they have, they will continue to be a match up problem for other teams in a playoff series. How do you match up? And Cleveland has not been patient enough to try and stick to their own pace. They were in the game - even down by 8-10 points. They cut the lead by driving to the hole, getting fouled, playing a somewhat half-court game. When they were down by 8 at one point and then started jacking up 3's and were missing - they were not getting any rebounds and then GW would come back and convert on a 3 of their own. Cleveland started getting into a panic and would come right back and rush another 3, same results - a miss on their end, resulting in an unchallenged rebound, leading to a quick 3 or 2 on the other end. If Cleveland can stay patient and push their own pace onto Golden State, the games will remain closer. Golden State is having their only problem with Cleveland when Cleveland runs half court offense - which allows them to halfway get back and play decent defense on the other end. You are not going to "outscore" GW ie get into a scoring fest/shootout, but you can beat them on pace - that is what disrupts their offense.
