NBA FINALS: Cleveland and Golden State

That is not going to keep people from their opinions that they needed KD to come play for them to get by Lebron and the Cavs. 4 NBA all stars plus a former All Star in Igoudala vs 3 All Stars and 1 former All Star in Deron Williams. LOL. All the NBA will do is allow the Cavs to get another All Star to avenge this. Part 4 next year until Boston and the Lake show can get good again.

Deron Williams died a long time ago.

As long as Golden State has the make up of players they have, they will continue to be a match up problem for other teams in a playoff series. How do you match up? And Cleveland has not been patient enough to try and stick to their own pace. They were in the game - even down by 8-10 points. They cut the lead by driving to the hole, getting fouled, playing a somewhat half-court game. When they were down by 8 at one point and then started jacking up 3's and were missing - they were not getting any rebounds and then GW would come back and convert on a 3 of their own. Cleveland started getting into a panic and would come right back and rush another 3, same results - a miss on their end, resulting in an unchallenged rebound, leading to a quick 3 or 2 on the other end. If Cleveland can stay patient and push their own pace onto Golden State, the games will remain closer. Golden State is having their only problem with Cleveland when Cleveland runs half court offense - which allows them to halfway get back and play decent defense on the other end. You are not going to "outscore" GW ie get into a scoring fest/shootout, but you can beat them on pace - that is what disrupts their offense.

Great points. I agree. That's where Lue gets outcoached. If Pop was coaching this Cleveland team. He would beat Golden State. Like you said you have to slow it down and pound them. Break when you can. But go to the basket and beat them up.

Man I want the Cavs to win this series badly. I just don't see it happening.

Same here. But unless Lue makes some adjustments and Lebron gets all his teamates to play soundly, they will have a hard time. If they can win both of these games in Cleveland, it would shift the pressure back to GS to win Game 5 at home.

Almost that time....

It's freaking mind boggling....Cleveland had Golden State beat late in the 4th. What confused the hell out of me was the defensive match up Cleveland put against Durrant. If Durrant was not playing for Golden State this series would 2-1 in favor of the Cavs. In the off season the Cavs are going to have to make some extreme changes in order to win another ring. This match up between Golden State and Cleveland to me has almost hit the level of the :

Lakers v. Celtics
Lakers v. Detroit

That was pure ass last night on what Lebron did in that final poss.

Pass the ball to Kyle Kover for a contested corner 3 pointer instead of taking the shot yourself brehs

Even my lady who is not in to sports was like "WTH Lebron."

What's more impressive? Beating a team that went 73-9 in the 2016 NBA regular season in a Game 7 of the NBA Finals on the road or sweeping through the entire NBA postseason?

Yeah, blame LBJ for that passing it to one of the best 3-point shooters in NBA history.

Exactly with the best shooter having to rush the shot with a hand in his face.

Good Job.

Instead of being a finisher and finishing the play himself.

Dude will never be a Kobe or Jordan

Like Korver never made a contested jumper.

What made him pass it to Korver, he wasn't open breh?

So Lebron passed it to Korver for what again?

Because he's one of the best shooters in the world, who's in the game to take shots Ike that.
