Well you definitely lost that battle, because you know she has to get Oprah's channel. What your wife has to understand, Oprah doesn't have enough juice to compete with the big T.V. networks. Her channel is like a fill in the blanket type channel. If it wasn't for the Clinton's, Bob Johnson's BET won't have made it this long. At least the programs on Oprah's channel is 100 times better than those on BET.

I will admit I do miss ID too lol but we have been okay with Sling thus far, although, I know football season will be the true test. Adding Hulu Plus helped supplement the few shows we do watch that we couldn't get via Sling or the antenna. The only thing I don't like about Sling is the very limited DVR feature and for some reason during the playoffs the ESPN channel has been doing a lot of buffering. We switched over to watch it last night on the WATCH ESPN App and it is much clearer and no buffering at all. Other than that, since February we are still going strong with Sling and are missing Direct TV less and less these days.

I am fine. I personally have no complaints. I literally watch three channels anyway.

Between the dayjob and the business, I don't have much time for tv
 
Internet Service Providers (ISP) definitely need to upgrade their systems and there need to be more of them to keep cost down.

You just buy the box. There are some channels you have to buy and some that are free. Once you get sling, you really want need anything else but maybe the sports package for your office.

You just need to buy a Roku box. There are free apps and pay apps on Roku. The Sling app cost $20/month and $5/month extra for the sports package. There are tons of other apps you can pick from to watch on Sling. A lot of local news stations broadcast their news only through their Roku app. And being that how you think on here, here's a nice free app I'm sure you will enjoy.

I'll pass on the porn app. I'll never watch. Lol that's the one thing I'm not into. Lol Strip clubs and porn are two things I've never been interested in. Lol. Nor the sports packages. I like outdoor channel's, fishing, hunting and history channel's. I'm a country boy.

Also, once you subscribe to Sling, Roku has a separate app for ESPN and the History Channel. You can log onto them with your Sling account, although ESPN and the History Channel is built into your Sling app, but I do believe the separate apps provide a little more programming than what Sling provides.

Bruh, no lie, I invited Da Bruhz over one time and the app just showed up on my Roku player. I just haven't had the time to delete it. LOL!!!
 
buy an unlocked Amazon fire stick.... you can get them on eBay for about $70..... one time cost plug it into your hdmi port in your tv and you can get EVERY channel ever made... every MOVIE ever made (including porn and movies currently in the movie theaters)... every pay per view.... all FREE. Just make sure you have unlimited data on your wifi plan.

Lol... reminds me of a time a bruh had a family pool party and invited the da bruhz. He gave a big speech about how he wanted everyone to be respectful around his family and not to bring any loose women.... Well, I don't think he gave the same speech to his sister n laws. lol.

Man, the sister-in-law knew what time it was when the Da Bruhz had a party. I'm sure she thought it was a straight up No. 2 type party. I'm sure the bruh had to drain his pool and refill it with CLEAN water. No telling what was left floating in that pool. LOL!!!!
 
Can you use the roku box on more then one TV? Like using a splitter? Does it distort the signal?
