24 - Season 5

You bring up some valid points Fiyah. I also thought the VP being in LA was rather odd. I guess he is the "Cheney" for the show. (Thanks Mikebigg) When Lenn was taken into holding I thought that all of his credentials should have been locked out. Some our local state agencies use the finger print technology so if poor lil' Louisiana can have some state agencies using it, surely CTU can.

Shouldn't Lenn be dead now? He was in CTU when the gas was released but they did not show him in one of the secure rooms.

I was thinking the same thing about Lynn and Tony, like, "wait a minute they ain't in secure rooms why ain't they dead yet?"

I was sad when Edgar bit the dust. I have a feeling either Tony or Chloe will be the next to go.

Tony is in medical, which is where they also sent Henderson. They are able to seal that area. Lynn, on the other hand, is a mystery.

I think it will be Tony. They have nothing else to do with his character. Plus, if they get rid of him they can bring Chase back. Since they played up on yesterday's show "Chase leaving Kim when she needed him most," having Jack work with Chase again would lead to some interesting fireworks.

They still playing us for dumb.......

With everything that has gone on there is no way in hell that the President and the Vice Pres is in the same city. It is protocal to have them in different locations just in case one of them get killed the other is somewhere else to take command of the country.

Also when Lynn lost his duties over CTU it would have been put in the system and his credentials for access would have been frozen. How in the hell can someone duplicate a counterterrist units ID, it's not like its a laminate ID. And why don't they use fingerprint technology to gain entry into their place. Even Henderson's employer had that kind of technology, remember Chloe had to hack into their system so Jack could get in.

I wouldn't be suprise that the Vice President is the other mole that is in on this. He knows how week Logan is and is trying to get him to declare martial law. Don't they remember what happened a few years ago when Mike had the cabinet declare Palmer incompetent and the cabinet had to vote to do that. He knows the law and shouldn't let the VP come in there with that kind of stuff to do that without any notification to congress or the cabinet.

Now who in the hell is this Barry (Kim's new boyfriend) character?
How do they just let him waltz all up in CTU without doing some kind of background check.

Although I amd enjoying this season, they (writers) are just playing us for dumb about a lot of things in this seasons episodes.

Now off of my soapbox........

THEY LET EDGAR DIE ..... :bawling:
Fiyah, you don't miss nothing, do you? :emlaugh: I don't analyze the show that much, hell, I just sit back, relax and enjoy. They have to make it interesting...it's tv.

No way they would be in the same city.:nod2:

They did Edgar wrong. Edgar ain't hurt nobody. He was just comming into his own.

Tear up my hard brother card cause I couldn't watch Edgar bite the dust. :emlaugh:

Edgar dying breaking a brother down.................

:lol::lol:

Regards.

I was glad to see more action during the two hours. However, I was :bawling: for Edgar. I had to rewind it a couple of times. To see him call Chloe and she mouth his name was devastating...just devastating. :bawling: :bawling:

Interesting....I can't see this video, but I did see he's upset about it...wow, I didn't know that. I just figured he had something else going on...workwise.

He has another show on T.V. now.

His basic comment was that he didn't like the message it could send having the only black president ever to exist on television (and one that displayed genuine character) assassinated in the end. I guess it kinda like Colin Powell's wife telling him not to run for president because she thought that he would be killed (I believe she is on record as saying that).

Regards.

oh, ok...well, he is right...and so was/is Colin Powell's wife. Damn shame, ain't it? :smh:

Yep it's definitely a crying shame.

If Colin Powell was a member of the Skull and Bones Society and
The Trilateral Commission he would be safe. Colin Powell knows what time it is. I'm just wondering when 24 will touch on those societies if they have not already.

Come on now PV. How are you gonna skip after last weeks exciting 2 hours? Are you boycotting 'cause they killed Edgar????

I knew Henderson wasn't in a coma....

Remember he taught Jack everything and we all know how many times Jack has died or been tortured to no effect.

Last night was an emotional "24". Actually, I was glad to see the Pilsbury Dough Boy die...it's all his fault that CTU was under attack, in the first place. But, that was courageous of him, anyway.

Now, s phi s...I'm w/you...I don't believe Tony's dead.

It seems that next week, we'll finally get somemore action...Jack will once again, save the day. :jump:

Now I have a few issues with last night's show.

Why is it that Chloe can hack into any PC in the world, but she can hack into a PC right down the hall?

Why couldn't Tony or the Doctor see that Henderson's eye's were blinking? I did not trust dude for a minute laying on that table.

In all of CTU are there any Gas Masks available?

When Lenn and the Red Shirt gaurd were given the duty to unlock the PC, why couldn't they head for the exit instead of staying in the building with the gas?

Did no one think to call the fire Dept have have them bring gas masks for those trapped inside?

Now I have a few issues with last night's show.

Because that was a special program that couldn't be access to remotely, thats why they had to physically go there and unlock it.

Why couldn't Tony or the Doctor see that Henderson's eye's were blinking? I did not trust dude for a minute laying on that table.

He was not a Doctor, he is just another agent (Agent Burke)

In all of CTU are there any Gas Masks available?

They were in the contaminated area along with the Atropine. My contention is why couldn't Lynn get to that area and take the Atropine after unlocking the computer?

When Lenn and the Red Shirt gaurd were given the duty to unlock the PC, why couldn't they head for the exit instead of staying in the building with the gas?

I wondered the same thing, but somebody had to die

Did no one think to call the fire Dept have have them bring gas masks for those trapped inside?

I told ya'll a long time ago that these writers are playing us for fools, but they do have some good stuff with the show
