It blew my mind as well. If you can't see that the Alton and/or Philando situation seemed to be the tipping point that caused this that I don't know what is. Since Mike Brown (which was only 2 years ago in a month), we've seen Tamir, John, Sandra, Sam (cop was actually charged), Eric, Freddie and numerous other black individuals killed by police and none of them were even charged (outside of Sam and Freddie in which the officers were charged but no one has been convicted yet). It was sad listening to Rickey Smiley yesterday who came off vacation to do his show and allowing people to vent on air because this stuff is taxing on the black people in this country.

So now you do have to question his mind set after he went overseas.

Now Pookie & Ray Ray will be paying for his actions. As will BLM because too many of them are calling this guy a national hero.

And he did nothing. He did not even know he was a suspect until his brother told him that his picture was being plastered all over the news that he was a suspect. The word is that when he turned himself in police told him they had video of him shooting but the video does not show that.

I see it but you can't keep blaming every single cop. If they are not in that situation to report other officer-there is NOTHING to report.

If we do that then we need to blame every single black person for not snitching.

Or does that rule not apply to us? Stop demanding cops to rat out bad cops when you don't call out blacks who protect Pookie & Ray Ray.

Pookie & Ray Ray are the reason we have all these cops in our community in the first damn place. As long as Pookie & Ray Ray are being protected and worshiped in the black community-no one give a flying F about the black community.

It gets to the point why are we constantly seeing black folks act like azz and then we wonder why they get shot. Folks are fed up with that group feeling like they can do whatever and a community the gives them saint hood.

While trying to paint every single cop as a black person killer. Yet the killers of blacks like Zimmerman are sitting at home drinking Kool Aid. I don't see a posse going after them. Yet yall want the good cops to do your dirty work.

It is quite possible that this incident had nothing to do with the two recent shootings. It is possible someone took advantage of the protest gathering to advance their own agenda.

There needs to be some type of psychological testing (along with a national database or something) before you give someone a gun and badge especially former military vets. The Philando case is a perfect example of that. Guy tells cop he has a weapon with permit. Cop tells him to get it but then freaks out and fills him up with lead? We don't need people like that on the streets especially in black neighborhoods. And there are a lot of them like that on the streets.

The situation you just spoke of took a number of people over the edge. I don't know why it is so hard for people to see this. What if we did not have the technology we have now? This would have been just another unknown killed by the cops.
 
Someone keeps updating micah Johnson's instagram page which is really creepy. Im confused as to how a triangulated attack with 3 or 4 shooters turns into a single black shooter over night? Something isn't right about this...then they first reported that in the convo with the shooter, he said he hated BLM and the cops. Umm wtf

Pookie and Ray Ray are not the reason why the police are in poor communities in actuality.

What we failed to acknowledge is how poverty correlates with crime.

When there is a denial of education, limited access to education, lack of resources, lack of job opportunities, and economic development that creates desperation. And some of those folks, who are in a desperate search for resources, are more likely to commit crimes.

And as a result, those who live in those communities, then complain about high crime and demand safety from the mayor, police, lawmakers, etc.

And guess what happens next. We see more police in those areas to surveillance folks.

That creates more encounters with officers who already have a poor perception of the residents who live there making everyone vulnerable to incidents like we saw in Louisiana and Minnesota.

And the cycle continues because folks -- who've had bad encounters (or folks they know have had bad encounters) with the police -- don't snitch on criminals due to a lack of trust for officers.

All because those people happen to live in an area impacted by socioeconomic disparities.

All of this is a direct result of Reagan's cuts to mental health.

Sorry but if the black community can rise up and fight back against the police brutality in their community, they certainly can rise up against ray ray and pookie nem to take their community back.
 
Im still confused..

So...

Micah initially acted as a sniper...

Then...Got into man to man combat with police on the ground level (in shooting the officer on camera)

Then..makes it back up to roof for a standoff (and they blow him up)...

I just read on CNN they don't have the dudes body because they blew him up...

If they don't have the body, then how they know how he look? and his name though?

Who identified him??

So we should just respond by saying "hey another black got shot by the police. let's email our political leaders. have a great evening."

No one said to shut down the police departments but what most are saying is to get rid of the bad cops. It only takes one monkey to spoil it for the masses. The issue is the good ones are not putting the bad ones on front street. Cops hide things for other cops just as blacks do in the hood.

Moreover answer this one question:

Why is it that police are more aggressive to blacks than whites when being arrested? Look at the whites who have shot up churches, movies, and been arrested for illegal guns but end up going to court or smiling in their booking photo.

I hope one of your unarmed loved ones NEVER get shot for any reason. Police officers are SWORN to uphold the LAW. Ray-Ray and whomever didn't sign up for that. They didn't make a pledge to serve and protect. Police officers did. If they can't do the job right, they need to turn in their badge. It's just that simple.
If they can't uphold the standards they swore to, they need to go.
As far as Ray Ray and the like, you already have almost two million of them in jail....and most on non-violent offenses. You seem to want more of them put away or worse.
