Louisiana treat children, particularly Black children as child support checks for the custodial parent There's no such thing as TRUE JOINT SHARE CUSTODY in Louisiana. And what's really sad, she goes and question someone else's child as if she has the rights to do so. As the drama continues, I'm sure they would be back in court concerning the father cutting his son's hair. The only people win in cases like this are the attorneys.

One time he called the cops so he wouldn't have any trouble from her to get his son, when she got out of her car she shoved the lady cop out of the way and told them she don't have time to fool with them, they did nothing. Before he died, the founder of Popeye's Chicken and Copeland's Restaurants Al Copeland paid a very small amount in child support payment ($50,000 per year) and he was worth millions, whereas I knew Black fathers in Louisiana barely making over $50k per year and they were paying over $10k per year. Also, I've had White male co-workers who have gotten full custody of their kids although the mothers requested it too, whereas I've seen Black fathers who were more than capable of raising their kids get laugh at when they asked for full custody. IMO, Louisiana is one of the worst States in dealing with the custody of Black children. Somehow people have come to accept this social norm that Black children are better off being raised by their single mother. Don Lemon for example, every chance he gets he announces it to the world on CNN that he was raise by a poor Black single mother in Louisiana..

I agree 100%!!!!! If I told yall some of the bullshit Louisiana does I could write a book. I have a friend who is being forced to pay child support and the mother never had the child to take a DNA test but some bitch ass judge made the ruling that it is his child. Lord I could tell yall more....SMH. Louisiana is ridiculous when it comes child custody laws.

There is one judge though who I witnessed first hand removed the children from the mother. The chick had 5 kids by 3 different men. The first two she was married to their father. So he took her to court for full custody. The mother was not working and basically living off 5 child support cases and welfare. The judge was like "since you not working maam and he is I'm giving him full custody until the kids are 18."

My son's mother plays those sideways games and I will just leave it at that.

what bothers me is these women treat the dude who is not paying child support with all types of respect. These men can come over anytime...lay up...etc.... Control is the biggest problem in these situations and what drives women to do these things. One time when my homie could see his son he was coaching him at his soccer game and because the mom didn't want him there she called the paramedics said he was injured and caused a big commotion and ended his game and everything, the son was on the field playing and had to stop, he was so embarrassed

I hate to say this, but you are fighting a losing battle. Just like the mother in video encouraging her sons to intentionally scratch their father's car with their toy trains, I'm sure your son's mother are doing something similar. What these mothers don't understand, they are teaching their children things that could get them killed later in life. I had a high school classmate who was shot and killed just before our 10th year reunion, all because he stepped on someone's shoe in a club.

You do know that 18 don't mean a thing if the child is in school. In fact, if the child goes to college, you will still have to pay I think until age 26. I paid until my daughter was almost 20. Only reason it stopped because she became pregnant.
