I have to correct you.....jsu's band director Harold Haughton has done as much , band concepts wise, like Doc. Greggs.
 
I've done research seen tapes & heard stories from 1950s & up til present day...about the boom & jukebox. JSU had the grand sound , greatest arrangers ever & the drills wayyyy back in the day...over SU. fact!!!!!!! Harold haughton came in and did a hell of alot for the Boom. The majority of that old school William Davis sound left jsu around the early 80s....he could not be touched....by any swac band arrangement wise. & when haughton left....alot of his 70s drills left with him. Jukebox really came alive when Greggs took over in 1969. & Doc Gregs was the man!!! But The boom already was doing that stuff!!!! But Greggs took it up a notch. SU became a beast! The boom started to loose a lot of its beasting legacy when taylor stepped down the first time & the Boom never could keep solid head band directors or asstanits for along periods of time ...& liddel was ok...but he was not nowhere near a dowell taylor or harold haughton. i mean, Greggs was there since 1969...SU couldn't be nothing but consistent, they choose a great director that stayed!!! But present-day.....I can't wait to see what 2015 go on a have in store for Boom and Box!!!!

These flukebox members in here whining and crying talkin bout other JSU rivalries just to save face. We all know yall pretty good at diverting but yall need to teach ole dezjaguar that if he gone do it atleast have sense or truth wit it lol. Most of his posts make as much sense as a dog chasing his own tail or in yalls case, a juke chasing his own cape lol.

If su's so great, why are all the Black folks voting primarily for JSU's band and JSU's dance team? Then you got White polls consistently placing The BOOM ahead of su's band?
