Congrats to those boys from the Hill. We still have a long way to go though.
 

Chase pitched real good today. :vomit: :vomit:

PV got many runners on base and moved the runners with bunts
and timely hitting. SU played with no intensity and didn't bat well.
Didn't try to sacrifice. PV wins the west. Congrats.:vomit: :vomit:

Saw the 2nd gsu tsu game. gram won but their team is very undisciplined.
Too much argueing among each other and with umps, even talking back to
the coach.

Thats the same thing GSU did here in Baton Rouge....
 
First great series SU and very good series TxSU.

Excellent Baseball in the SWAC, especially at the top of the West.

Congratulations to Prairie View A & M administrators, coaches, and players.

Could not have asked for a better opportunity, and PV closed the script on the regular season the right way.

Now time to continue to build the program by making a second and important statement in the tournament.
 
PV played small ball to the fullest today and worked it to perfection. Matt Chase pitched the game of his career this afternoon also and the defense was great.

A West title is great but that doesn't get you a ring...

Stop faking like this is all new to you. That title could be the start of greater things to come for a team like PV on the mental side of the ledger.

You have to had won at least three or four titles in a row before you can take that stance. Right now a title is very big for PV and deserving,So stop spoiling it.

To Prairie View A&M Baseball Panthers. This championship was almost inevitable based on the caliber of play by this ball club the last few years.

Special "props" to S.U., TXSU, & UAPB for also giving us a memorable and formidable regular season..........SWAC West Baseball; Got to Love it!!!

"Small Ball"............Kudos to Grambling State for fighting to the bitter end in-spite of adversity!!!

Let's Geaux Baseball Jags........Bring the Tourney Champ back to "da Bluff!!!"

P.S. Props to the SWAC East for a great Season.........."Looking Good!!!" (we're proud of you too!)
 
Wow... I wish my boy wasn't in a 10U Super Series tournament this weekend or we probably would have been in south Texas today. As I said in a previous post, I'm glad the competition is rising in the SWAC. That is were we all get the respect we desire when we have strength. It helps us be more battle tested when we hit the tournament also. Hopefully, it will also mean more talented players will come to the SWAC and raise the bar another level next year.
