Um, Jag-BR..Freda Allen is the 6-1 forward from Lake Providence while Argurson's the 5-9 guard from Wossman.

we got a girl from McCall coming in. I remember we had Lakeysha Johnson at the point right before coach pugh came in. She was cold. McCall, I mean, Madison Parish, has a good tradition for hoops for girls and boys.

The funny thing about SU's team was that there was no middle ground..you had 5 seniors, but yet the rest were either freshmen or sophomores...

Looks like Freda has thrown down the gauntlet and is going big to kick arse now.
Go Freda Go!

LeFlore players sign in basketball
Mayhane to Tulane, Tate to Alabama State, Freeman to Okaloosa-Walton
Friday, April 14, 2006
By MIKE HERNDON
Sports Reporter
LeFlore's Johnny Mayhane made it official this week, signing a college basketball scholarship with Tulane, and two of his classmates signed as well.

LeFlore point guard Tifton Tate chose Alabama State and Lady Rattlers forward Jamie Freeman signed with Okaloosa-Walton (Fla.) College.
Tate averaged 11 points, 8 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game and goes to an Alabama State program that signed two Rattlers last year: Andrew Hayles and Bryan Campbell. He had also been recruited by Southern, Alabama A&M, Jacksonville and several junior colleges.

In the last three years, 16 players from LeFlore's boys' basketball program have signed, with seven going to Division I schools.
Mr.Swac,
ASU goes down to Mobile again.
:D

and looks like Pettaway and Spivery tried to go down there too.

lol, That's all right. This LeFlore squad, Mayhane was the lone person I wanted A&M to go after. Y'all can have Tate. He's aiight, but IMO 3rd-4th best player on that team. We need to sign someone quickly out of LeFlore before ASU tries to build a permanant pipeline like y'all had with Blount in football during the '90s.

beans,
why the  ?

but it seems like this young lady is a great pickup, with a great attitude..

Talented trio of Lady Jaguars sign up for collegiate careers
By McKenzie Jackson
CrossRoadsNews, Inc.

High school athletic powerhouse Stephenson High has always had some of DeKalb County’s top-level sports talent and it proved it again when three of its athletes signed letters of intent to colleges in Virginia and Alabama.
.....
On the basketball court, Assunta, a center/forward for Stephenson, helped lead the Jaguars to three straight state semifinals and the 2004 5-A state championship.
Listed as one of the best in the state, she describes her playing style as a physical one.
“I play aggressive,” she says. “I like to bang and play hard defense. I’m not really concerned that much about scoring points, I’m more concerned about rebounds and assists.”
Assunta will major in biology and wants to go on to be a physician assistant.
Go Freda!!!
:D

no way for us to go but up. :retard: we've reached the lowest of the low recently. too much bs abound the athletic dept, still. :read:

actually they listed her at 146 lbs. I bumped her up 4..lol. we've got to get her goals up though. we've got to take her from physicians assistant to physcian.
