jsu alumni association, athletic association and state officials should be pressing Mason to find a head coach replacement. Think about...........don't be defensive. This group has power and need to start leveraging it. Jackson State does not belong to the people that are tearing apart that football program.

I don't think anyone said that your supporters were "fine with what has happen." Your "once proud program" home attendance numbers imply that they are not. To the contrary MH stated he heard boos and I made comment about "talking smack" which does not solve the problem. I believe the political route needs to be taken.

Still, you only get calls because the big 3 can only schedule 2 non-conference games. That is SIX games that others will HAVE to get. Plain and simple. So no, MEAC teams won't play you and you never get invited out of AL.
And to prove that JSU is elite, look at how excited AAMU was/is over FINALLY beating us. 2-10 or not, beating JSU is beating JSU. It's something you can brag about...it brings about credibility. It's like Maine beating MS State and USM beating Nebraska. An SEC school is STILL an SEC school and Nebraska is STILL Nebraska....down or not. JSU is still elite...just as TNState and Grambling were during their down years. We would not even be having this conversation had we never hired Hughes. We should have hire John Shannon and continued to roll through all of ya'll.
