USC: Best team in the country?

The Big Ten doesn't have the speed to play bump and run. USC haven't faced a legit SEC team since Pete has been @ USC.

Didn't he blast that same Arkansas team that LSU got whooped by?

And what's even sadder is that McFadden beat LSU by himself!!! LMAO!!

Yall are funny. I would take Saban. USC has one tough game a year.

Exactly. The PAC-10 wasn't that impressive this year, especially in out of conference games.
Personally, I think USC is better than Oklahoma, nevertheless, the top team playing in the two toughest conferences, deserve to play in the championship game, until we get a playoff system of some sort.

I'm just glad Iowa beat Penn State to prevent another BCS blowout.
Po Big 10.:shame::shame:

Says who. THe SEC is a much better league. Saban won this season with Freshmen and Sophmores.

Come on man. The SEC has been down this year. Saban did a great job but just like Florida whipped them USC would have beat them as well.......probably worse.

2 things kill USC. A team with an amazing scrambling quarterback or an inferior team that they look past.

Instead of scheduling overrated Big 10 teams for out of conference games, he needs to try and schedule quality SEC schools like Georgia, Florida or LSU.

When was the last time USC won a national championship game?

Pete Carroll out recruits and out coaches Saban. Heyal I'd take Urban Myer over Saban.

Saban didn't wanna see USC in 2003. Trust me.

The Los Angeles Climate out recruits Saban. Put Saban at UCLA (or USC) and it wouldn't be pretty for the rest of the nation.

Y'all nitpicking. These schools schedule years in advance. USC schedule Auburn and whooped their azz at Auburn and at SC. They schedule Arkansas and beat them to sleep twice, with one team that made the SEC championship game. Ohio State played for the last 2 BCS titles, but they ain't good enough OOC opponent???

Thanks Robber. We have to keep reminding these dudes about USC dominance over the SEC. Auburn was ranked #4 in the country when USC went to Auburn and beat the hell out of them. Auburn didn't even score. How embarrassing is that.

That same Auburn team was highly overrated and went on to lose several other games. Like I said they have yet to face a legit SEC team.

That was the same Auburn team that went undefeated the next year. Jason Campbell, Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Carlos Rogers all were starters on that team. That Auburn team had talent. USC just beat the hell out of them in their own backyard. That game screwed up Auburn's whole season. Since then, Auburn has only played cupcakes in their nonconference games

But what did they do that season. I think they started the season 0-4.

This is one reason that I do like the bowl games. It allows team to rest up and game plan. It really is a testament of coaching ability. However, we need a playoff..

And Auburn didn't have a good year that year either. Besides, that was five years ago.

Damn, did ya'll see that stat ABC posted about Pete Carroll?

81-9 since Carroll took over at USC. :scared:

That's because USC took their pride. That beat down screwed up Auburn's whole season. That Auburn team had talent. Like I said, every since then Auburn only plays cupcakes.

What dominance over the SEC? Last I heard, LSU and Florida were national champions the last two years, so where's the dominance?

The speed and power and QB play that Georgia, LSU, Florida and maybe Bama has will matchup well with the speed and power USC has.

Imagine USC having to go to LSU, Bama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida games, with those crowds, two or three times a year. You can't tell me they'd come out undefeated.
