I think a lot of these swac starters transferring would’ve gotten drafted still had they’d stayed. The conference is bigger, more exposure, recruiting is becoming serious, better comp.... but we get trapped into the bigger sexier P5 as the ONLY road to get Drafted.I think he could have had a big year at JSU and gotten drafted..........just my thinking.

I’m glad that Deion is changing the narrative on that. Forcing the hand on other coaches to stop wallowing in the comfortable of the status quo. Have you seen Kenn Rashad or hell, I'll even take his alter ego? What was his name? GSUguy or something? I haven't seen neither one since the narrative changed. And I just practically given up on Kendrick.I’m glad that Deion is changing the narrative on that. Forcing the hand on other coaches to stop wallowing in the comfortable of the status quo. I love it.
Gotcha.........but how many receivers are awaiting him at a P5 school.Possibly but he made the right choice for him. 10 more receivers are added for Fall play which will result in fewer snaps.

McNeese DLineman transfers to Southern.
"Level the playing field" by transferring from McNeese?
He shined in the spring and benifited from the EXPOSURE of games being played on ESPN 2 and 3. Good luck to him.

Just like Michigan and Ohio State knew about him NFL Scouts probably did also.Don't forget regular Espn too
I agree, he could have stayed at JSU and got the same looks...Just like Michigan and Ohio State knew about him NFL Scouts probably did als
Leveling the playing field is the entire O line transferring from LSUIf you're of the view that McNeese is representing "The Man", then yes. I believe the SWAC is O-fer vs. McNeese, so that statement factually/technically has merit.
I would be curious to hear what was said during his exit interview from JSU.
Daylen was going to be a starter in the fall. From my understanding... this was him doing what he felt was best for him. As I said earlier... cats believe the P5 route is where the eyes of the scouts are....
