Loyalty & Respect
10. Season of the Tiger:smh::smh:- When BET announced the airing of this show, many of us thought they had finally convinced Tiger Woods that he was a brother. However, when word broke that they were profiling Grambling State University, overweight QB Bruce Eugene, and blind mella jella bka Melvin Spears, we instantly knew that this was trouble.
9. Baton Rouge parade of Champions circa 2004- Everyone in the state of Louisiana was estatic when the LSU tigers won the National Championship. However, there was very little mention when they allowed the Southern University Jaguars to march at the back of the parade.:smh::smh::smh:
8. Alabama State University- They are 668 reasons that I could mention but I will spare you the reading. Copple that with the Cole Brothers writing strip club checks and you have as the NCAA puts it: "Lack of Institutional Controll"
7. Bruce Eugene Crying- Grambling State University QB became the face of the school during the Doug Williams era and led Grambling back to the promised land. However, many will only remember his Peyton Manning-esq choke ups during the bayou classic and the tragic scene of player and coach crying on the sidelines. Now, we know why the overweight lova never played softball.
P.S. I will spare you the picture, i know you have seen it.
6. Priscilla Slade- We can not decide on which one is worse, the fact that she used over $650,000 on her garden or the fact that she only paid back 127k and walked scotch free while her partner got ten years. :smh::smh::smh:
5. Alabama State 1952 game vs FAMU- Sad day in sports history when a basketball team can win a game with only 4 players. After the loss, Alabama State University considered dropping basketball as a sport all-together.
4. Grambling State University bands performs with the University of Houston- Now, the World Famed may be known as such for all the wrong reasons but the morale of Black America reached an all-time low when the Fame decided to jump for the white man once again. Hey, this is not surprising though, considering Grambling has been embarrasing black folks for over 40 years now.

3 (tie).Alcorn State University- Whether it was Johnny Taylor's claim to be the best winless team or the rumored prayer for Steve Mcnair by the announcer of a football game or the recent article in a national magazine, that told the tale of $5.00 buffets and 20 hour busrides. Alcorn has given us a reason to feel bad for black people again.
3. (tie) MVSU 2007 MVSU vs JSU Football game- Proudly sporting fresh white tees, Valley once again proved why they haven't beaten Jackson State since the days that 2pac walked the earth. The student body proudly boasted that they would rather go to hell than J-State without realizing that they were only step away.. (Hell they go to Valley). Jerry Rice send help fast...:smh:
2. Prarie View losing streak- It is always sad to see the history one the nation's most storied HBCU's being reduced to a ESPN punchline. Those 80 games made Noah's 40 days on the Ark seem like a walk in the park for Panthers fans.
1. Grambling State University Tampax commercial- I mean seriously, how much will a school do for money. When tampax started the "Tampax was there commercials" we expected to see women doing various activities bragging on the strength of their tampons but I don't think anyone expected to be reminded of bleeding vaginas while watching their favorite dancer girls do kicks. :smh::smh::smh: Sad day in Swac History. To make is worse, the commercial came complete with dancing refs......:shame:

Honorable mention: Grambling State Band 2007 Bayou Classic, Jacoby's billboard,
footnote: AAMU, UAPB were left out because they contributed nothing to the swac.
