this right here...smh so much truth. I will say I feel SU did put more importance on the field show in your battle with JSU last year. That field show was talked about for a long time and still is somewhat. That's what a great field show will do though. It leaves a lasting impression in your mind. The songs are fleeting if they aren't repeated but that moment in halftime, when done right scorches souls and the field. Other Bands didn't even want to touch the field after some of our shows back in the day.

no effort being put into it. We use to tell stories with our shows. Sit up at night and plan what we were going to do & how to bring it all home. Kids have to let their personality come out in the shows more.

Man I definitely remember those days of planning and plotting! Taylor had our half times so hyped back then the crowd was still hollering while the other band had gotten started. It's definitely not the same Brave!!

LOL. A little honestly about the BOOM is good. We were still better than TNState but we were not up to JSU Standard. We must do better......

1) Yeah, if they're "at" the game.
2) "Casual" fan doesn't always equal "just for football" fan. I see that term being thrown around as if that IS the case. But, it's not.

There are always fans there that are at the game for both equally. Hell, some of which wouldn't even be at the game if the band didn't show up (the band's attendance settled the coin-flip on whether they'd go or not). Some of these casual fans go for a football game (initially), but think it's boring without one or two bands being there.

Plus, you act as if "casual fans" aren't look'n up these bands on Youtube. They are, TP...trust me, they are. It's not just bandheads
