Sow why is the SEC 6-2 in bowls, with middle of the pack teams like Ole Miss beating Texas Tech and eighth seeded Kentucky beating the Conference USA champ?

The SEC has won more bowl games than any conference over the past four years. How many times must a I beat a dead drum. Guys give the conference credit whether you like the fans or not. The stats and national championships don't lie.

So the f what if they won more bowl games than any other conference and I say once again that the head to head in bowl games are completely overrated if you skate by and play cupcakes just to make it. If you want to be the best, play a tough OOC schedule in the regular season. Don't play those cupcake teams. Travel outside the south. Bring your A game on the road. USC just proved it over the past 7 to 8 years.

My opinion is based on head to head wins and losses. Based on the facts as they have occurred.

In all seriousness, my argument is and has always been, that it is easy to dismiss something that you know nothing or little about. The folks on here (you included) have been saying that conferences like the Pac-10 and MWC are weak. All I am saying is that if you don't know anything about them how can you make that claim?

Many of you are taking the pageantry/popularity of SEC football (which is indeed unique) and confusing it with this so call high level of competition that many of you think is in no other conference. All I am saying is that facts (the final score) prove otherwise.

Not true...there is too much of an human element to the selection process as well. The BCS was not created with conferences like the MWC, WAC and MAC in mind.
