there is more but i want to make sure that my post is well-organized as it is likely to offend and that will not be my intention
*but is along the lines of how Christians look at Jesus and his impact on the relevance and execution of Jewish law
remember what the Bible says he said before he died on the cross...
As I've said many times, Christians are Christians because of our relationship with the Lord, not because of a religion or denomination or spiritual click. Can't each and everybody respect each others religions?
The Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God by whom we are saved for eternity, through faith in Him.
The Koran does not acknowledge the Truth of salvation through Jesus.

moreover, ?how many "versions" of the Bible are there? King James, International, Saint Joseph, et al
there is only one Qu'ran

...also, the fact that virtually all of the accounts were written long years after the prophets left this temporal Earth does not lend itself to much accuracy...
That's not my intent or reaction at all. I hope it didn't sound that way. I'm only trying to understand what you meant. IIRC, the only gospel that was written by a person who didn't walk with Jesus was Luke. And he is noted as a doctor who wrote his book based upon interviews with people who did walk with Jesus.Originally posted by hassan
folks, i'm not trying to turn this into an exercise in hostility

reading the Qu'ran in its form now is like reading the Bible in its Dead Sea Scrolls form
