From what I hear from my boys is all the broads they are meeting lately say they ain't having sex until their married. OK that's kool but how you gonna have three or four kids by dudes then meet the Johnnie come lately guy and now he gotta wait until he marry you? Lol So this is how they trying to get husband's now.

I applaud them...do life like they want to ...cause Lord knows, whatever a black women does is wrong according to y'all.

Well if a woman has more than one child she is out of the game for me anyway.

Really this is nothing new. Some of these women have had a personal coming to Jesus moment and want to blame everybody else except themselves for having babies with every Tom, Dick, and Harpo.

Also, this is nothing new culturally. Asian women will have oral sex and anal sex and still consider themselves virgins. White women has begun to do this as well. Some European women feel that if they are not married and have sex they are considered virgins because they are not married. In some Islamic cultures the women who have sex with men who are not Muslims feel like they are virgins because they only had sex with someone who was not a virgin.

At the end of the day I say do what makes you happy. I find that most of these women who have 3 and 4 kids suffer from some type of love issue. What I mean is they only feel love from the children and unable to actively have a relationship.

I'm not saying it's wrong. I mean let's be real when a man takes on a woman with kids you not only date her you take on the kids also which ain't nothing wrong with that. After 35 finding women who ain't got kids or at least one child gets slim so that's no problem. The problem is if I gotta take those responsibilities you gotta give some azz up with it which is your responsibility. Lol it's call give and receive.

My boys see chicks with more than one kid it ends quick. As I told my lady if she would have had 2 kids. We would have not been in a relationship.

But we (including myself) are the bad guys being called selfish if we say we don't want an instant made family with 3 kids (especially if it by 3 different guys). Damn if you do. Damn if you don't. You're sorry if you are the one with 3 kids by 3 different women but selfish if you don't wanna take on someone else's responsibilities. As I have gotten older, my tolerance for kids has got lower so there's almost no chance I'm gonna wanna take on the role of a glorified baby sitter. Remember I said before that there are a lot of women who want men to be a "father figure" in their child's life but don't want you to act like their father. They want to be the mother, father and discipline person while you just be there and pay your share of the bills. F that.

As you said, even as I've hit my 30s, the only way I would consider dating a woman with two or maybe even 3 kids is if they have the same father. Other than that, nope. Learned the hard way about women and the role of their child's father(s) in their life (he's a dog and a woman beater but you end up getting another baby by him since we're in a LDR). I turned off this pretty dark skin girl where I used to work because here I am 30 with no kids and you are the same age with 4 but you don't want a man disciplining your kids. Naaa I will stay single lol

P.S. I have hated that term "born again virgin" because it is being misused by non-church people who have had plenty of "life experiences" and then wanna put a nice guy through that non-sex stuff. F that lol. Abstinent is much better

I was talking to a lady who use to live next door to me and she was saying her sister had 4 children by the same guy but he never married her and now he was not in the picture. she said she told her she was a damn fool for having that many children by one guy. She said if it were her they would all have different daddies because she was not going to continually get fooled by the same dude. I laughed my butt off but when I thought about it she had a point. She might get fooled but it won't be by the same guy over and over.

Uh uh...it's MORE THAN PLENTY of dudes with kid baggage. Just because they don't live with them all the time, doesn't mean they can't cause havoc in your relationship. I won't date a dude with small kids period. I ain' t going to no more PTA meetings, afterschool activities, etc if I can help it. I have NO problem with any man, woman or kid who calls themselves born again virgins. I don't think its a ploy to get married esp not for black men since it's been pretty well established ain't much gonna get you down the aisle except a near death experience or a white woman, hoe or not, i.e. Kardashian clans y'all still don't call hoes even though they are hoe queens.

And while we are talking chicks with all those kids...those kids EACH have a daddy. So, there are way too many dudes with kids that should not be considered husband material. And please don't let them be behind on child support...uh uh. Don't waste my time. I ain't gonna get married just to pay your child support. I tell women all the time, if you have children and want marriage, do NOT waste time trying to change a person's mind or attitude about it. If you overhear him saying negative things about women with kids, cut his ass off. Same for his friends and he not correcting them or standing up for you...cause you ain't got shit. Just getting your cat wet. Get with somebody that wants you AND your children...in a healthy way. you wasting life otherwise.

I think everyone deserves the best life possible...the problem is folks don't keep it 100.

That last line says it all CT. Keep it 100! If a female feeling a dude why try to play the game. be up front. But everybody be sending out their reps when they go out, both men and women, where as one may be surprised the things you can really learn from a person by being 100. I mean hell, if you see yourself spending time with this person why waste the time? Life to short for the games.

Everybody got a past and thats what people need to realize when meeting and going out with someone. But the games....smh...too much. And this 'born again virgin' thing is a big game.

not sure why it is perceived as a "game." I think the concept is pretty much: I want better/different than my past. So, they walk down a new road....can't see the fault in that at all. If a person is changed/changing...at what point do we ^5 them for trying to get to better? Trying to keep them at previous status quo or drag them back to where you remember them at...now that's bullshit crabs in a barrel mentality to me.

My son's mom can be on some bullshit. She is playing nice since that child support is about to end and he wants to come to college at GSU. I'm like yea you about to get a wake up call when I tell him he is 18 and has to work.

Actually, it doesn't end at 18 when they go to college, founder. FYI. You are responsible for at least another 4 years depending on the state they reside in....I got the check stubs to prove that claim...

Under 35 the number of children matter, but when your over 45 it doesn't depending on the age of the kids. Lol I don't have a problem with the kids, but don't use the virgin Mary line to get married. We all got a past, but don't use the sucker punch line for a husband. Lol

Naw it's not keeping them in the same place where they were it's merely accepting who you are as a person and what got you to where you are now. See when people make that change they try to cut that part of their life out like it never happened, when in actuality that's what led to the change.

See it's just like a female/dude make that change but never told the new boo what led to it. Then one day that person is blindsided by the past of that other person. I'm all for moving forward but why should the next person pay for your past mistakes? Hell they may not be your mistakes at all just the other person. That's carrying luggage and everyone do it but can you hold the new guy/female accountable for what happened in the past?

Damn Cee...anybody who doesn't get the "gist" of the message and is over 35 is not marriage material IMO. They need social services cause they slow as hell...

Yea Founder they got you still when they go to college.

Let's be real...good communication--actually ASKING THEM THE DAMN QUESTIONS FLOATING IN YOUR MIND vs just thinking on them and being surprised---is the key and downfall or many relationships. I've dated the folks who won't ask the question cause they scared of the answer--cause I tell the truth even when it costs me--and they like the status quo...We don't ask the questions we need to ask, then get surprised at the answers we didn't expect....smh....

AMEN!

And that's where I am on it! I have asked questions. I don't mind the answers. Cause at the end of the day it's about getting to know that person. How can you get to know someone if you don't ask questions and be expected to have questions asked of you.

I can't know how a lady want her puddin taken care of if I don't ask. Everyone is different. LMAO!!!! Sorry CT just had to get that out.

NO SIR!!! That is a lie. Louisiana law states you must pay up until they are 19 if they are in a secondary or alternative school.

2006 Louisiana Laws - RS 9:315.22 — Termination of child support upon majority or emancipation; exceptions
§315.22. Termination of child support upon majority or emancipation; exceptions

A. When there is a child support award in a specific amount per child, the award for each child shall terminate automatically without any action by the obligor upon each child's attaining the age of majority, or upon emancipation relieving the child of the disabilities attached to minority.

B. When there is a child support award in globo for two or more children, the award shall terminate automatically and without any action by the obligor when the youngest child for whose benefit the award was made attains the age of majority or is emancipated relieving the child of the disabilities attached to minority.

C. An award of child support continues with respect to any unmarried child who attains the age of majority, or to a child who is emancipated relieving the child of the disabilities attached to minority, as long as the child is a full-time student in good standing in a secondary school or its equivalent, has not attained the age of nineteen, and is dependent upon either parent. Either the primary domiciliary parent or the major or emancipated child is the proper party to enforce an award of child support pursuant to this Subsection.

D. An award of child support continues with respect to any child who has a developmental disability, as defined in R.S. 28:451.2, until he attains the age of twenty-two, as long as the child is a full-time student in a secondary school. The primary domiciliary parent or legal guardian is the proper party to enforce an award of child support pursuant to this Subsection.

Acts 1993, No. 261, §7, eff. Jan. 1, 1994; Acts 2001, No. 408, §1; Acts 2001, No. 1082, §1.

What Is the Definition of Secondary School?
