So the new pimp game is being a born again Virgin? Lol

I've seen a pattern with people that try to run the "born again virgin" game. Usually stuff like this comes from someone who have certain set of people that they want to make babies with and then have another set of people that they want to raise them. They usually try this when they want the advantages and perks of a spouse but aren't attracted enough to the person to reciprocate.

The sad part about this is this "awakening" only occurs when a person can't get the people they actually are attracted to and then try to do mental gymnastics and claim that they don't want sex. It's just sour grapes and they can't pull the people they want or they are in a place in life where they have to get a relationship with someone with mean and try to separate themselves from their past which is full of bad decisions.

Interesting....kinda like I want the baby by the handsome thug but want handsome square to raise him.

From what my boys tell me is when they meet women like this they don't even consider talking to them past the introduction. It's OK glad you found yourself but I'm gone. See ya. Lol

Actually, it doesn't end at 18 when they go to college, founder. FYI. You are responsible for at least another 4 years depending on the state they reside in....I got the check stubs to prove that claim...
Yea Founder they got you still when they go to college.

In MS it's until you are 18 unless the child goes to college then it continues until they finish
In Alabama the age of majority is 19, and then it ends there, regardless if they go to college or not.

From what I hear from my boys is all the broads they are meeting lately say they ain't having sex until their married. OK that's kool but how you gonna have three or four kids by dudes then meet the Johnnie come lately guy and now he gotta wait until he marry you? Lol So this is how they trying to get husband's now.

This only works on dudes like Russell Wilson. Need I say more? lol

When I was 23...I was dating a chick with three kids... One day, I got scared and left...

Back then, I didn't think much about that decision. As I got older, I realize how f#cked what I did really was and looked her up on a trip to Nola and apologized.

Man I gotta admit I was nothing nice. I had to do some apologizing too. Lol

See that's some bullshit. A kid 18 is an adult whether they are in college or not. So married parents should be under an obligation as well.

So what you are telling us is that you don't want to help your child financially with their college expense.

This is more of a child support issue rather than a supporting of child issue. Fro example my son's mother has 3 younger children. When I finish later this year I will know for a FACT that all the money I am paying in child support will go to my son and no one else. It may seem mean to the other kids but they are not my responsibility.

Concerning the issue of college Momma and dad didn't help me, my sister, or brother.

My sister worked and participated in pageants for scholarships. My brother was a barber in the dorm and had a scholarship as well.

What they did was ensure that we had the tools to earn a scholarship. Same with my son. He plays saxophone, trumpet, and tuba. As a father I have purchased all three and since he wants to major in music education he should utilize those tools to earn a music scholarship. Because Southern's band director was once his and my family knows GSU's band director personally it is up to him to practice and make the band. Then it is up to him to pass his classes.

See I don't believe in paying for college. I believe in preparing kids at a young age so that someone else will PAY them to go to college.

Also, I worked FULL-TIME and was on an academic scholarship while in college. So if I can do it he damn sure had better

I am rolling with Founder on the portion of this I can identify with...paying for college. I helped my son get his band scholarship (he got it primarily because of my relationship with the then band director at sTu because he stunk up the audition). Once he got in school and learned the game he took over from there (apartment movie bootlegger, cd bootlegger and he played in multiple ensembles). At one point he was getting so much money out of the music department that the head of the music department told the band director he was going to have to limit my son because he was getting more money than some of the music majors.

I filled in the gaps for him but the small loans I signed for he paid back. He purchased his own car (I helped with insurance down payment which he promptly paid back).

Equip them and turn them loose. I will be a safety net but not footing the entire bill. As a result he graduated in 4 years and was pissed he did not do it in 3.5 (he did not find out about the hours he could get during the winter break until it was too late).

I agree. Kids should know how to hustle. Hell I worked for a State Representative and the head of the political science department exempted me from classes because I was getting real world experiences. I finished undergrad and grad 4.5 years.

Define love. See that's why our kids are so freaking weak these days. No one wants put them in fire to get burned and learn something. You learn by fucking up. I will give advice and if you don't take it and fuck up that's ok. I will rescue you that one time. Fuck up again and it's on you.

My son learned that lesson early. When he was in middle school he was at a basketball camp and he had about 15 bucks for the three day camp. Mind you that was just for him...the camp took care of EVERYTHING...they ate like the athletes and wanted for nothing. After the first day he ordered a pizza AFTER they had just left dinner. The pizza was about 12 bucks, at any rate he had 3 bucks left for the rest of the camp. He calls home saying he needed more money...NOT! I told him no and that was the end of that conversation.
