Get real....teams lose players to eligibility every year. Isht happens but SU loses half their damn class over the summer. Reading IS fundemental. Is Petey Pablo reading transcripts and test scores over there?

Look, Pete's graduation rates is well above average. That' all I care about. Richard just graduate with a 4.06 GPA. Pete consistenly has a t least 2-3 players that are Academic All Americans so what the hell are you saying. So some of the kids that we recruited don't make it. That's on them. Don't act like JSU aint had no classes like that. Well maybe that's why you recruited only a few. Pete has had alot success stories academically on kids he has given a chance to. Don't worry about Pete. He still has more hardware than any JSU coach has gotten since WC.

My question is this. WHEN WILL YALL WIN THE SWAC. No diversion about SU. Just a simple answer. BTW, this is not going to be good for you this year. Going to be alot of this :bawling: in Jacktown this year.

No, we haven't had classes like yall have. In '01 and '02 we signed 25+ players and about 65% of them made it to campus- that's normal when a I-AA school oversigns since we're only alotted 63 scholly's. So because of that we had no choice but to sign a small class this year and we got quality out of it. Your numbers are in the 40th percentile and then you have like 9 or 10 props. What's they deal? Are most of these guts not light-skindeded enough to attend Southern?? I forgot SU still requires the paper bag test along with the ACT's.:D

GR this is why students should not try to smack. He is clueless on recruiting and how coaches manage their programs.

All this from a guy who said Keith and Robinson were the best QB's in the SWAC? That was on the Sportsboard, too where a little more common sense is needed.

GR, now that you are recognized as one of two outstanding JSU Fans and moved up from the faded T-Shirt fan club, the next step is to get your Coach and AD will share more information with you. Then at your next meeting you can educated 06 of facts about scholarships and developing programs. He needs to understand why any program consist of more than 63 players.

06, you must understand there is smack and good smack is supported by facts. Mascots don't hang around for 20 years trying to graduate or is he working on an advanced degree or is your Mascot a paid position?

Try reading a post before smacking it. 06 correctly stated that you're only allotted 63 scholarships. He didn't say anything about 63 players. Understand?

99, he used 63 scholarships and I used the term 63 players which means that I did not address scholarships but mentioned players. My comment moved the number 63 in a different direction. When GR get the information, I hope you came make the next BB Assoc meeting so you can understand.

Because if you look at SU's schedule for the last 3 years, we've had ONE of the toughest in the SWAC HANDS DOWN....

You're ONLY playing ONE of the 3 teams we've played in our schedule last year ALONE.......

Northwestern, Nicholls & Tulane.......played ALL 3 last year..... So shut your mouth and continue to suck on that passifer youngster!
 
Back in the day, I would get into discussions with folks who would disagree so they could obtain information; pretending to be knowledgable of the subject matter, but you must evaluate what you have said then do some research and your illogical comments may lead to thinking leads to thinking.

Right now 1-9 need a lot of help, because you have a lot of work to do before Nov.
