3-7 didn't help yall get rid of Woody. His contract expiring did. Stop acting like yall bought his arse out. Yall did nothing but watch his contract expire. He was not lame duck. Had yall won he was going to be re-hired. LOL. Pete is gone no matter what he does next season. Thats why he is trying to get an extension. Maybe Woody should have had Comegy get him one when yall gave fat boy an extension. Let's see yall buy Fat Rick out.

Dude stop taking what I said out of context. SU can get a good coach EASIER now than we could back then. WTF are you talking about. Aint no old heads worried about Pete leaving. They are the main ones wanting him gone. The new school SU folks aint the ones in power. LOL.

Jay rob arse knows damn well their arse is stuck with Comegy for 2 more years. How he trust Fat Rick to hire a good OC, I don't know. Oh well. Like I told them it was not just Woody's fault. Comegy never made ole boy change the offense and he was the one kept running Rutland out there and he is one recruiting all those NON MS boys and playing them in front of better MS grown talent. Woody learned from his master........Comegy.


That's why I aint blaming no assistants for our issues. It is all on Pete's arse. They do what he allows them too.

JR, I do get it. Woody was gone, whether we had won the SCG or not. It was written in stone. Woody was just living out his contract. The 3-7 record was the icing on the cake, and it gave the powers that be more un-needed incentive to not renew his contract.

You say Pete is gone no matter what, I wonder if he went 13-0 or even 11-1 next year if yall would say the same thing. Based on your history with Pete, I highly doubt it.

Ahh player, I already address that in another one of your post where you stated SU hadn't done well since 1975 and showed the numbers from early 80's to early 90's showing that you didn't know what you were talking about.

You do realize there isn't one school in the SWAC that has a winning career record against SU right?

Whose program has been in the toilet for two decades? Let's see, JSU won the SWAC two years ago and was competitive in the '90's until james b*ll came along, so this two decades thing you speak of is a deliberate lie.
