After two seasons as head coach, Ravon Justice has left the Prairie View A&M University women's basketball program.

"We want to thank Coach Justice for her contributions and impact on Prairie View A&M University," said Vice President/Director of Athletics Ashley Robinson. "Coach Justice returned our women's basketball program to championship-contender status in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, and again elevated the profile of our program regionally and nationally. We appreciate her efforts and wish her success in future endeavors."

Assistant coach Aaron Swinson has been named Interim Head Coach. A national search for the next head coach of PVAMU women's basketball will begin immediately.

Welcome to Huntsville, Ravon!

Please save our dormant WBB program which while it has had coaches do great things after leaving SHSU - has never had a consistent, let alone winner.

Southern University and A&M head Women's basketball coach ran her out of town. The thought of competing against S.U. on a consistent basis had her losing sleep. No one can really live like that over an extended amount of time.

Get out of here with that crap. It's not like she never beat her.

Yeah, sam houston women's basketball is trash. She'll be there two years then out. She won't do anything in Huntsville either.

Did Sister girl run the conference here two years a PV or did i miss something. they would better off hiring TSU womens coach. No she makes too much money. TSU pays good.

Tell Banks to go ahead and pay that women and quit trying to use PV as a method to get her a raise.

Maybe she wants a second retirement if she moves to Texas. Plus no state taxes. LOL.

Banks got his own plan. Ironically Sandy was interim AD when we hired Banks. LOL.
