Apple would be a two bit prostitute if it did that. Verzion punks the phone all over the media with those ads, and apple still decides to sell its product to them....oh hell no, its too many world wide contrats out there that they could tap into, too many smaller markets they could tap into in the states...I'd leave verizion high and dry for effen with me.
It would be in Apple's best interest to let Verizon get that phone before they keep adding Android based phones and punk both AT&T and Apple out of the market. The Droid is already obsoleted by the phones coming down the pipe. Apple knows this.
When you guys get serious about mobile devices let me know.

Okay Dahill. I went and tried the Droid yesterday and don't care for the one by Motorola. I don't like the slide aspect of it and the keypad is too small for my fingers. How's the HTC one?
:emlaugh: :emlaugh:
I feel u.....I considered leaving T-Mobile since their phone selections SUCKS. But I'mma loyal customer, and I stuck it out until myTouch came out.
Gotcha. The guy @ Verizon told me I would want the speed of the Motorola version. I looked @ him, laughed and said, "Chile, I ain't studdin' speed and probably won't use half of the features. Heck - do you see the phone I currently have?" (W315 Motorola) All I need it for it to talk & text. :lol:I've never used the keypad on my Droid. You can just use the touch.screen. You can't go wrong with any android phone. The Droid has. Retain features the Eris doesn't like voice activated turn by turn through Google maps for free. Getting the HTC would would be like getting a smaller Droid without the keypad and minus some features. If u don't like the keypad you don't havro use it
Verizon didnt punk the phone itself... Verizon punked the NETWORK.... you have to remember Verizon turned down the Iphone before it was ever offered to AT&T..... Apple needs Verizon more than Verizon needs Apple... even after turning down the Iphone, Verizon's profits grew, customer base grew, etc. Apple needs Verizon's network. Why would they want to tap into a smaller market that doesnt have Verizon's network and over 87 million customers.
Now I like the Iphone personally, because I like Apple products period (I own a Imac and Ipod Touch).. but if you put the Iphone on Verizon's network it would take the phone to a different level.
A phone is only as good as its network... I try to tell people that all the time. You can have the "flyest" phone out but if the network is shaky, it does the phone no good... My homeboy who works at Verizon with me has a Gzone (he was in a contract before he got hired)...Now I like the looks of the Gzone over the Droid.... but buddy is SICK right now... He loves the Android platform but after he saw the speed on the Droid, he said it made his phone feel like ish.

I'm waiting on my Motorola Cliq to come. Its a Droid phone too. I guess the equivalent to this phone they talking abouty.
Just another way that "Big Brother" can keep his eye on you. :uhoh:
bruh.... the TP2 is UNDER the Droid... we sell both. Now I like the way the TP2 looks... but performance wise the Droid is on another level....I work with both every day. The TP2 is under the Imagio (the HTC phone that came out at the same time as the TP2).

Bro, who are you trying to fool? The TP2 and the Imagio are the same phone. One has a keyboard and the other doesnt. I believe the Imagio also has 6.5 where as the TP2 has 6.1 as an OS. Both these phones are equal with the exception of the Keyboard...
Now, how is it that you feel the Droid is under the HTC Products...
Windows Mobile smartphone sales plunge 20% in Q3
Decline occurs despite overall smartphone growth

Computerworld - Sales of smartphones running the Window Mobile operating system declined 20% in the third quarter at the same time that total smartphone sales surged 13%, according to an analysis of newly released sales data from Gartner Inc. Sales of smartphones running the Window Mobile operating system declined by 20% in the the third quarter at the same time that smartphone sales with all operating systems surged 13%, according to an analysis of newly released sales data from Gartner Inc.
The fact that Windows Mobile sales declined may not be a surprise, but the size of the decline is. The third quarter ended before an upgraded operating system, Windows Mobile 6.5, began shipping in October, too late to have an effect on sales figures.
But even sales of version 6.5 look lackluster.

Doc, the HTC Touch Pro 2 is using Windows Mobile?!?! I don't know of anyone that even still looks at Windows Mobile as a legitimate OS anymore. Most companies prefer BlackBerry and their OS. The general public probably prefers the iPhone, Android, Palm OS, and THEN Windows Mobile. As a matter of fact, here's proof of what that.
Get rid of that 4th rate cellphone operating system. :lmao:

It's aight but not enough for me to leave my iPhone...
No they aren't the same phone. Imagio he mobile TV on it tp2 doesn't. Imagio camera is better also. The reason they sold out is because we didn't make a lot of them. They weren't even sold in stores.
Did you even read that report? Esp. the part where it said this report was done before the release of WM 6.5..
