Not true. They were at the hospital the day it happened. He didn't want them to have to answer questions about it or miss school/games while she was in the hospital. Dad and the younger brothers actually missed the Kentucky vs UCLA game to be with her.

The difference is that Ball hasn't been as openly dismissive of others who've been critical of him like he was with her. He didn't act that way when he's appeared on FT or Undisputed.

But they all -- Ball and the press -- win at the end. He gets folks talking about him and the press gets public interest by writing and discussing Ball.

No one else has been on TV saying Lavar's sons are afraid of him and that he forced his sons to play basketball like she said or saying some of the other parenting stuff Whitlock has said.
