Hail, Hail To Thee...
**** was good for APR. Did you applaud that hire???
B*ll had no collegiate experience prior to being hired at Jackson State. This hire at least has experience with graduating student-athletes.

Non, you are sounding crazy right now. Academics and athletic success are not mutually exclusive. Especially, not for women's sports.
Non you are very delusional right now nd arent making any sense...very delusional...i am sorry i want success n classroom nd on the field...Coaches job is to win games and teachers job is to teach class period...we have dropped the opportunity for a good hire with a lady who has only won in JV high school in Memphis..the athletic dept needs to be cleaned out starting with TFO....

...I gots the Ghetto Fabulous title held down."
Yes he did.
The bottom line is that every sport has NCAA academic standards which are about to raised. I applaud both the president and AD for bringing in someone who has a proven track record of graduating student-athletes.
I didn't hear this when Bell was the coach. We were good academically but The wins never came with him as coach. Based on her track record they won't with Dixon either.
Let me reiterate. B*ll had no head coaching experience on the collegiate level prior to Jackson State.
Well knowing what you know now, would u rehire Bell? This new chick is as big a loser as he is.
Knowing what we know now, I would not have re-hired B*ll. He could not coach and had horrible relations with the alumni and fans. Knowing what we know now, I would have gotten rid of Braddy when we first hired Comegy and replaced Braddy with someone with competence of APR and with connections to the NCAA. Give Dixon a chance to prove herself at JSU. Many people didn't want to give President Meyers a chance because of her situation at Norfolk State yet look at what she has done/plans to do for "Our Dear Old College Home".
Don't compare the 2. It's a lot easier to measure a basketball coach than a president. Dixon will be measured by wins and losses. She couldn't win at her other 2 stops, what makes you think she'll win here? A losing coach is a losing coach.
You didn't hear about it under B*ll because the APR was relatively new. It did not become prevalent until the last few years.
Give Dixon a chance to prove herself in regards to her success on the court.
Hell no....but I see now this is the type attitude thats around my Dear Old College home....We are giving folks with suspect resume chances at JSU..WTF..
CB, only 2 people applied for the position. Come on, man.

Another thing for all you politically correct academians ....
A coach that doesn't win is a bad coach. I don't give a damn about their APR record. Anybody can give a scholarship to a good student who doesn't belong on the division 1 level. You can easily get your ass beat by 20 every night a then brag on your 1000 APR score. The key is to balance the 2. If you can't win you might be the best person in the world with the best intentions but you are a horrible coach.
Ok I understand this but how can u support a coach her and she has never won on a collegiate level...
Hold up we just hired a damm Middle School Coach she never even coached high school in Memphis...:smh:
