The Sonic boom of the south was inducted into HAME OF FAME for bands in 2003.
The Sonic boom also attended/played for the 2002 Image Awards on national T.V.

Sonic boom returned to Motown and is MOTOWN's marching band.

The Sonic boom under the direction of DR Liddell has been nominated to attend the DRUM LINE BATTLE OF BANDS in ATL in january 2006.

This is their second invitation prior engagements did not allow them to attend the FIRST DRUMLINE when the movie came out.

JSU band was invited to be the GUEST SHOWBAND in the EASTERN PART OF THE WORLD in KOREA.

there is only 2 bands from the US and jstate is the featured band out of 50 from across the WORLD.



KNOW YOUR HISTORY about what each director has done for JSU.
WE OL HEADS KNOW WHEN ITS TIME FOR DOC TO LEAVE.

Jimmie james has to retire 1st then we can move Dr Liddell into his spot.

HOWEVER NOT AS THE SPEAKER for halftime.

LOL@ this post. You aint no ole head. Ask folk like Staggalee83 and Bengal E who are real Boom ole heads is it time for Liddell and James to leave. I bet you will get a different answer.

I crack up on these 90s cats thinking they are old heads. They are just older new schoolers.

I'm well-aware of the BOOM's track record. But we all know that the BOOM ain't what it was in the mid-90s, and it certainly ain't what it was in the late 80s. There's always a need for fresh blood and new ideas in any program. The BOOM ain't exempt.

Man don't be trying to clean it up now. You shouldn't talk about the band. Liddell is much better than your boy Bell. Bell record was 8-23. Liddell is at least .500.

let it go man. Anybody who's posted on these boards know that you'll talk noise(i.e. your screen name) right up until jsu starts getting whooped, and then you run. Like a coward. Not a peep outta you for the whole season.
While JSU was getting drubbed by everybody, you were NOWHERE to be found on tspn. and now you wanna come mouthing off--after the fact.

I don't know the guy's name, but that nasal sounding announcer for Jsu's band cracks me up with all those (home made) rhyming words. :lol::lol:
Hope they keep him.
