You need to be worried about that 4 game losing streak and Straw need to worry about that arse whooping coming on Saturday. SU will be fine. Just like we always are.

When the TRUTH hits you head on, sometimes it hurts. That's just a fact of life. I know you don't want anyone to tell you that your baby is ugly BUT sometimes, you have to face that fact. You have already counted one too many arse whoopings that were suppose to be dished out to various schools and groups this year only to end up with a warm feeling in your own but or chokeing on the big one with big hairy pecans on your chin and a nickel in your hand.

LOL. Aint no way yall score more than 35 points in the SCG against Gram. If yall do, they must have left their team back home. That was too easy. Ya'll let your emotions get the best of you. Think about what you posted. You do realize SU scored 35 points in the SCG last year right? AAMU best chance of winning is if this game is a low scoring game in the 20's. No way you win a shootout with Big Bruce. Oh well.

Coach Rick Comegy, athletic director and head football coach at Tuskegee University for the past ten years, will take on a new position as head football coach at Jackson State University, located in Jackson, Miss., on Jan. 1.

The President of Tuskegee University, Dr. Benjamin F. Payton, expresses regret that Comegy is leaving, but also states his deep appreciation to Comegy for the decade of excellence and service he has rendered at Tuskegee University.

?When I first interviewed him 10 years ago, I sensed in the course of our conversation that he was a person of great skill and coaching ability, who would be a winner,? said President Payton. ?I have known him to be a person of integrity and loyalty, as well as one of the nation?s outstanding football coaches. I will hope and pray for his continued success in the future and will always look upon him as a friend of Tuskegee University,? President Payton further stated.

Comegy hopes to restore JSU tradition

After leading Tuskegee to 90 wins in 10 years, Rick Comegy is hoping to turn around a Jackson State program which has posted three consecutive losing seasons.

Rick Comegy is leaving Tuskegee University.

And this time, he's serious about it.

On Wednesday, Comegy accepted an offer to become Jackson State's head football coach. His hire will be made official at an 11 a.m. press conference this morning.

Comegy called the JSU job one he simply couldn't pass up.

"With what's been done at Jackson State over the years, I'd like to see if I can get in there and be a part of that tradition," Comegy said. "This gives me a chance to keep striving at another level and see what I've learned in this business, to see if I can match my wits with people in another conference.

"I plan on being there for hopefully the next four or five years -- or as long as they'll have me."
