Do you think the black college game stills needs the help of full sized marching bands to showcase our product?
Have the majority of BCF fans evolved to the point where they no longer need a specatular halftime show to draw them out to a good football game?

I think bands would be more beneficial at football games if they paid more attention to action on the field.
During the vegas game, SOuthern's band would start a chant of "defense Jags, defense. A lotta, lotta....defense, Jags, defense" every time we would get the ball.
On the other hand, A&T's band got called for a 5 yard pentalty because they were playing some arbitary song too loud in the stands during the game action. That had no clue what was going on on the field.

Damnit Bornthrilla you hit the nail right on the head! The band should remember that they are there to support the team and should realize pregame, halftime, and after the game is their time. While the game is in progress the band should be the biggest group of fans in the stadium. Nowadays the bands are so busy trying to out play one another that I think they forget that they are at a FOOTBALL GAME.

Just think of how it would be without a band, Everybody looking around looking for em'. I've been in those kind of games without the band and it just don't feel the same. Of course you are still into the game, but what about the fan that comes to specifically hear the band, you do have those kind of fans as well.
