I'm Done - Democrats add gay marriage to party platform


One issue trumps all others? That does not make sense. However, you have that right and get no criticism from me.
 



You know a lot of people feel the same way here in my town also. On the Republican a lot of them are not feeling Mitt Romney...some may sit out this election as well some Democrats that are not satisfied with the current democratic platform. Low turn out for the election?
 
You have the right to vote the way you do, but what trips me out about black folks who attend church and read the bible is their comprehension of the bible. There is no way you can read the bible, study it or have read the book of revelations and have a understanding of these things were to come. You can not stop what is written. I don't support the gay stuff. Never have nor never will I support it, but I also have enough sense to realize that less than 60% of the folks in this country make 100K, less than 80% make 200K, less than 90% make 250K. Don't cry when the repubs stick it to you and everyone else because you let a bunch of gays who are going to continue living their gay life style one way or the other blind side you from the bigger picture. The bigger picture is the tea party and this republican candidate does not care about the working class people. In 2012 their is no difference between a white collar job, nor a blue collar job. Now you folks may fool yourself into thinking that it is, but don't fool yourself.
 
Well said Cee. The gay marriage issue does not matter if you do not have a job and can't feed your family.

If you don't vote you have automatically voted for the winner. I am not mad about the gay issues. At the end of the day they are people to. Most importantly this is the reason for separation of church and state.

What I want is the best person to serve as President and quite frankly would you want a President who has bumbled his words stating racial statements consistently, a president who feels that the rich should be exempted from paying more taxes, and a president who does not want to improve healthcare given the large number of persons who do not have adequate healthcare?

I'm an independent and quite frankly if Mitt Romney is elected this country is going to really going to be devastated.

Founder, you briefed Bush and Clinton back in the day correct?
 
There are plenty of gay folks in both parties. Gays in the republican party try to be more undercover. Supposedly, Jerry Sandusky was a card carrying member of the Republican Party.
 
Whether you are on the political left or right, you will fear that not voting will help put in office people that support policies your abhor.

But decades of objective political reality tell us that even people from the party that we align with do not, when elected, fulfill their promises and our hopes or in many cases, completely change in some areas. Sadly, most Americans have become lesser-evil voters, deluding the entire process.

I mean, if a person believes the candidates in any election does not have the best interests of the constituents in mind, why should a vote be cast?

Supposedly?? Ole Joe-pa was a big time republican also.
 
Ken, we know all politicians lie, but nobody who is old enough to remember would tell you there was a DRASTIC difference from Clinton and Bush's administration. Under one we had record surpluses, and under the other............... so as apathetic as people are to voting, it DOES matter who you vote for.
