I enjoyed just about every band! :tup:
SU, PV and FAMU sounded great! And I was impressed with Virginia State and North Carolina Central! :tup:
I enjoyed Ryan Cameron as host (he is hilarious; I might have to start tuning in to his radio show on V-103), and I enjoyed Luda! I really had a great time at HONDA this year!
That kiss cam, where they had couples kissing was HILARIOUS!!!! :lmao: Black folks are some entertaining folks! Went to a Braves baseball game a few months ago, where they did the same kiss cam thing (white folks giving each other pecks on the screen) and it wasn't nearly as funny as I what I saw at HONDA! :lol:

Ive always said the best part of Honda is IN BETWEEN the bands.... BOTB's are like step shows... once the first 2 groups go, all of it looks the same and gets boring.

PVAMU, typical show, but the dance routine is was save yall. I live for your dance routines, yall be doing some raunchy azz dances, but it gets house, and thats what counts......:clap::clap:
FAMU, typical show, you guys sounded like the mass band by your damn self. FAMU's sound is just unmatched......beautiful. THe marching was definatley on point., as always:clap::clap:
the other bands did their thing, but nothing worth

You know what, I'm beginning to think that's my problem; because I was BORED out of my mind this year!! :lol: :smh: Even the frat/soror section was kinda quiet. :what:
SU and FAMU had the best shows IMO. :tup: I'm still trippin that FAMU actually "drilled." :lol: And I'm not even being funny- I've never really seen them drill before. And yes, they killed that "It Kills Me."
:clap: :clap: The Haiti part of the show was also quite touching. :nod: I had no idea that many members were from Haiti. :what: SU, I enjoyed the show- but u know I immediately flashed back to SU/SCSU in 1992 during "End of the Road," right? :lol: :tup:
Overall, the Honda was okay. :|
I attended my last and final HBOTB last year.....
Nope, can't do another.....not to mention I felt like I was 80 years old up in that joint....:lol:

Well u would have really felt old towards the end.....how bout they had everyone stand up and rep their birth decade?? :what: :lol: And they would play a song from that decade- like for the 80's, they played "The Show," and the 70's, they played "Brick House." :lol: By the time they got to the 60's, it took them a minute to find a song from that decade. :emlaugh:
But I'm with CJ- the best parts of the Honda is mostly in between the band performances.....especially the "Kiss Cam." Dat shat had me cracking up! :lol:

Yeah, I liked the in between bands...one year that did old school vs new school......those Al Green and Cameo songs were rocking the dome!

Southern Tops At Honda 2010!!!
I think congratulations are in order for Southern’s band. This group is having a stellar school year beginning with its amazing performance at ULL in the fall and the NFC Championship Game this semester. Accolades are pouring in from left to right – including The 5th Quarter, The MEAC Fan Page, Marchingsport, etc. – all saying SU was clearly the best on Saturday. I think what would have made Honda better this year was to have Southern being the final band. Just saying. Their performance was top-notch – clean and well-disciplined. Once again the SWAC represented!!!:clap::clap::clap:
