Obviously neither one of us are sure if we are asking each other questions and starting statements like “didn’t” or “I believe.” I’m not supporting anything so stop assuming. I could care less and will not research it either way.

One would think he would know better, but projection will expose a person. His broken mentality causes him to bite the hand that has fed him, but yet go full stockholm coping with them no confidence votes from whites.

Like I said on a different website…him saying he’s done more for BCU in a few weeks than others have done for years is just ridiculous.


Cookman was in contention to win the MEAC damn near every year. Things must not have been that bad if they had multiple MEAC titles and FCS playoff appearances.

He’s just mad “Da U” wouldn’t hire him & he’s taking it out on BCU. He probably never knew HBCUs existed outside of Florida growing up. F**K Ed Reed.

No matter how much money is thrown at a thing, you must get to the root of the problem to BEST solve it. The mentality of people affected by the Diaspora is broken, including Ed Reed.

The theft, murder, rape, misuse, and abuse of our people is what made these PWIs what they are today. They make me so sick with their fake smiles and holier than everyone attitude. They've raised so much hell and beat us over the dayum head so much, that we will now kiss their ass and denigrate ourselves. Study their history and you will see how great the flow of plantation and stolen share cropping money was to PWIs.

As far as I'm concerned every PWI is a part of a criminal enterprise. It's just that since they are a part of the original crime family, they have learned to sharpen their skills and hide their hands more.

They are still stealing and do not have our best interests at heart.

Yep, you can tell he's broken because as a man and leader he should have followed the chain of command and spoke with the AD and President about his concerns. During the conversation he could give them a period of time to get his issues resolved or he was going public. "How do you know he didn't do that?" If he had he would have said it.

In fact, Cristobal “encouraged” Reed to go after a HC job and then proceeded to hire someone else for Reed’s role. Doing some math…I think Miami gently pushed him out of the door. He had to post that apology tweet lol. Who wants a guy like that leading their program? Not the PWI administration. He has to prove he can lure blue chip athletes to Bethune. Travis + winning is why deion got a P5 job, basement dwelling program or not, he got it.
 
I guess my question is... are they right and there are issues that need to be addressed. Or, is it more of an issue of folks not liking that they're just telling the truth to outsiders.
 
Throughout American History anytime there is a positive movement to uplift something in Black society there is a counter move to destroy it. Often times with the assistance of some Black people. Yes there are problems with HBCU'S, but WHY? I think it would be best for HBCU'S to move on from celebrity hires.

As folks have said, two things can be true. The way he handled it brought the focus on him and distracted from the real problem.
