Correction: Small signed FOUR first team all state O-linemen, not three

I already proved to you a few post ago that i never said such a thing and that A&t even went to MS to recruit an all star JUCO player this year. You are once again making things up to help your lame points. You are the only person here who made any comments on one states quailty vs another state's quailty. I already said that my previous statement was only in reference to your 160 lb, first team/ second team all state running back.

Please post where I ever said such a thing or retract that lie immediately.

In a down year, MS managed to send a 2 RB's to Ole Miss, 1 to Nebraska 1 to Auburn and 1 to USM........that's 5 good RB's to very competitive schools. Not to mention a stable of good RB's in the 2005 class. I'd say that is still pretty impressive for any state this size.

And it just happens that the C-L All-State 1st Team RB signs with JSU, and now you're suddenly questioning the ability/ quality of a 1st Team All-State honoree.......the same type of honorees you ran over here talking about.

That is an asinine statement also. If you would have took the time to look closer you would have seen that a O-linemen ranked a few places behind Juan Williams signed a 1-A scholarship with Auburn. Is that big enough for you?

I guess that renders that whole line of arguement kinda pointless too now, huh?

I figured you would make a lame response like that and just try to blow it off once you were clearly proven wrong. The fact is you said that our class was sorry simply because two Ol linemen rated on this particular list signed with Duke and Tulsa. The list also shows that another O-linemen signed with Auburn from the SEC, which finished better than you precious Miss. State.

What does this then say about A&T signing Juan Williams, since he was rated higher than the Auburn signee? Nothing. It is still like comparing apples to oranges. You have no idea why each particular player signed with the school they did and what offers they might have passed up.

All this list shows is that Juan Williams is one of many highly touted O-linemen prospects in NC, (which I stated from the beginning) who were all considered among the best in the state (which I also stated from the beginning) and who happened to sign with A&T.

You have provided no proof that they were overrated or scrubs or that NC had some down year talent-wise. All you have shown are NC 1-A recruiting stats from 2003 and asked me stupid, irrevelant questions which neither of us have the info to (like which other 1-A schools offered to these players) You yourself don't know the answer to what offers your own JSu players had, except for two of them-- and they only passed up on 1-AA offers.

We have now come full circle in this debate and that central truth remains that this is a great OL class that Small brought in.

You hated on the RB's......RB's play ball. Then I showed you the offers they turned down and the schools they signed with. They can't be any sorrier than that crop of OL yall had in NC. Yet they can be worthy of First Team and Magee can't?

Wrong? All you listed was one signee who turned down offers from ECU :snicker: and NC State. That's it. The others turned down offers from Vandy, Wake Forest and other schools of equal or lesser significance. So one dude signs w/ Auburn.....GREAT! MS had a RB sign w/ Auburn, so does that make the group of RB's in MS monumentous- which would nullify your whole rationalization that the quality of MS RB's is sorry?
