Correction: Small signed FOUR first team all state O-linemen, not three

Remind Bell never to go to NC for a recruit.

Soemone already said that first team all state guys are not on JSU' radar. Bell rather settle for 160 Lb running backs who are academically ineligible. Makes sense to me.

Does post #39 of this thread makes sense to you? People want to know, as your credibility or intelligence is at stake. Either way, we know one has to go.

Ladies, I been around this page to know not to:

1. continue to reply on a thread when I've already been made an azz of
2. know better than to post three responses in a row just to get my thread count up
3. know that anybody over the age of 9 that uses the word doodoo has some issues
4. know not to dig a deeper hole in a losing smack battle.

If you two nuttswangers would quit touching each other long enough to look up you'd see ain't no reputable jsu smacker touched this thread in a while. That's cause they know better than to let thrilla use them like a kleenex after a nocturnal emission. Guess which two don't know better? :wavey:

WOW!! Now who's swingin' on who's nutz? Co-signing BT's nonsense and making references to his :sperm: ? (Questionable)

Again, BT, after you've replied to post #39, cu-....err...come and get your lackey.

There's the first one. Can the other nuttttt be far behind?

I ain't cosigning. I'm trying to help y'all lame young azz NonSmackingMafia members learn something boy.

As for post #39, that link clearly says that ECU was the first 1-A offer he got. It does not say it was his only offer, it only says it was the first-- maybe the first of many. How do you know it wasn't? You don't know who might have offered to him after this article was printed.

I just posted this link to prove to you that A&T did beat out other schools for a least one of our players, something you said we did not do. That in itself, proved your original statement wrong.

I am actually surprised the anyone from JSU is still posting becasue it is clear that the point has been made. The points go to JSU.

Now you are just speculating........look what BT has been dumbed down to! Well, hell, in that case, who's to say William Davis didn't have an offer from So. Carolina, Miss. State or Memphis? Do you see how farfetched that is? Because like you said:
You don't know who might have offered to him

OMG!! We have gone from facts and proof to speculation and assumptions! Damn, you, Smalls!

What a bunch of BS.

I distinctly remember you calling me a moron, then saying that the article was ECU-biased, and it would not list any other offers he was currently weighing out, trying to cover up the lie you made about him being coveted by the big boys, because we all know he was the #3 OL in NC!:D

However, the very same article, with updates on other recruits listed the other offers that those players were carrying such as LSU, Maryland and many more. Do you honestly believe that other high-profile programs followed suit after ECU and offered this guy a scholarship and yet this player still signed with you all?

If anything, speculation would lead me to believe that reading an article (in April 2004) that was dated July 2003, he was offered.....but he didn't commit, he held out for more offers, then he had a bad senior year and ECU reneged on their offer. Or, while he was holding out other OL were committing to ECU. Since he was expendable, they pulled their offer, leaving him with--guess who?--AT&T.......but this is if you want to go with speculation. This is the scenario that is most likely to have occured if you ask me. Maybe the ECU offer was off of the table when signing day rolled around.

:wavey: What up Doo-Doo chaser! :emlaugh: :emlaugh:

The MEAC Page is thataway! -------------------------->

And BTW, next time try not to use the word nocturnal emission in your replies...... kinda sounds really gay ya know! :smh:

Okay, now scat and gon back to swingin on BT's nutz! :flippy:

I am not speculating, I am just showing you that you can't assume something you don't know about my recruits.

Now you are just speculating........look what BT has been dumbed down to! Well, hell, in that case, who's to say William Davis didn't have an offer from So. Carolina, Miss. State or Memphis?

That's because your article from the clarion ledger did not state that those were the schools he passed on, it just says he got some interest.

William Davis

OL 6-3, 290, Corinth HS — Member of The Clarion-Ledger Top 40. Mississippi State and Memphis also showed interest.

BTW: I have been here all along saying that your question about "which 1-A school offered to what players" was asinine because that info is not always readily available. Some articles and websites tell it, a lot more don't. There is not one source that you can go to and check on the total number of offers a particular player got. Any argument you make otherwise is merely speculation.

You said our class was not good and our players were overrated because you didn't think other schools offered them scholarships. You had no proof but you asked me to tell you what 1-A schools offered them, not just heavily recruited them. I never said anything about offers because it was not important to me and once again i knew that info was not readily.

Based on your lame reasoning, JSU had a poor class this year because you only can show proof that two of your players had other offers besides JSU, and those were just from 1-AA schools.

Isn't that true? Do you have any proof that any 1-A programs actually offered to your players? No. So using the same arguement you used against me, that must mean your class must really sucks, huh?

Please answer this question.

bornthrilla said:
You moron, that article was from a ECU website so of course it would only refer to ECu and who they offered a schoalrship to.

So were you lying when you said this or were you not reading right, again?

Yes, I orginally did not notice that the ECU website listed other schools besides ECU. ECU was only his first 1-A offer at the time so it wouldn't show any other schools for Juan Williams. The website was geared specially toward who ECU was recruiting and I did not notice that it listed the other schools that may have offered to some of these players. Gold star for 06. But please tell me how this one point impacts our central argument that A&T's class is overrated? I know you have not decided to just hang your hat on this one point?

Now please respond to my previous question and don't try to divert from the topic again:

I can admit when I made a mistake about a small aspect of ECU's website. Please be a man and answer my question concerning your MAIN line of reasoning in this debate.

Also you made this claim:

Ummmm, we have guys that were coveted by Top 25 programs. The only difference is that our recruits don't have to take untimed ACT tests to get eligible. We sign guys like that every year. It's nothing new to The Mighty JSU.

Do you still maintain this viewpoint even thought it has ben proven that your fist team all state/ second team all state (lol!) RB is not academcally eligible. Do you have proof that any top 25 1-A program coveted (which means to want something badly) or even offered to any of your players? (Just having a school appear in your player's interest list is still not enough proof, right?)

If you don't have proof, this further proves that your class sucks, right?

Dude, we won't be able to tell if this class is overrated until 5 years from now. I said that I'm not impressed by Smalls, or his haul of recruits because:

You are using the term "All-State" to vouche for their talent.
Your main recruiting grounds had a poor year talent-wise (especially for OL), which explains how most received their honors.
You said they were coveted by the big boys, but until they get offers, who knows how much they were coveted?
So I asked you who offered them.
All you could show me was ECU (:() and West Carolina. No big boys.

And as far as your question, that was not reasoning, that was speculation......notice how I had the word in bold so you wouldn't go getting ideas. (which apparently didn't work). Am I not entitled to speculate? If you can assume that Williams had more offers later in the season, I can assume that ECU pulled its offer, being that the offer was awarded so early in the year.

The moral of the story is let's not go on speculation or assumptions. Stick to facts, and the only thing that is factual is that the #3 OL in NC only had an offer from ECU and ECU only.

BTW: Still looking for Christopher Johnson..........searched high and low for Michigan's All-American and can't find him! So I guess he's a scrub, huh, BT?

My class doesn't suck because I saw them on film and know what they can do and know how they factor into and benefit Bell's system.
And there's a difference between schools that show interest and schools that appear on your players' interest list........which side of the fence were most of your players on?

BTW: 2003 signee Kethonne McLaurin had offers from MS State and USM, but guess where he's playing? USM were in and out of the Top 25 and won C-USA (unlike ECU) and MS State recruited a Top 25 class that year. But wait......who's roster is he on? And there's your dayum proof.

There you go again debating apples with oranges.

You know we are talking about 2004 signees, not 2003.

Is it true or not that only two of JSU's 2004 signees were offered scholarships by other schools besides JSU? And based on the reasoning that you (not me) have clung to so relentlessly these last two threads, doesn't that mean that JSU's class sucks just the way you say that means that A&T's class sucks?

You can't have it both ways now.

Please answer that question.

And when you get done answering that please show some proof to support this claim:

Your main recruiting grounds had a poor year talent-wise (especially for OL), which explains how most received their honors.

All you showed was that the number of players from NC who signed 1-A scholarships decreased from 2002 to 2003. You have read nothing that says that 2004 was a bad year for NC football. Why are you using a stat about last year to support your claim that this year was bad? how much sense does that make?

Also, I don't think you can put a lot of weight behind a single stat that just shows the number of 1-A scholarships signed by one state's players in a given year. There may be more factors involved than that to decide if one state had a "a good or bad year". It seems like a pretty arbitrary stat to me. In 2002 NC was ranked in the top ten according to this stat. In 2003 NC fell to #17 according to this stat. Do you know for certain that NC did not go back up into the top 10 in 2004...according to this stat?

Dude, we are comparing Bell's ability to recruit with Smalls'. Did Bell bring in last year's class? Yes, he did.

And yes, many more than two had offers from elsewhere, so I went with the info. that was readily available. You can go seek out the information on the Net if you want to, but I won't........I don't have anything to prove. I've seen what these guys can do. I've seen the highlights and the athleticism they bring to the table. I don't have to rely on the post-season and/ or pre-season accolades that most already have.

First, I posted that link to show you how retarded you look when you say that MS had a poor quality of players. That link shows that MS, with less than half the population of NC, still managed to produce more I-A signees. 17 more. That article was not posted to support my claim that NC had a down year in 2004.

Secondly, what does support that claim is that your top O-Linemen in 2004 couldn't get a school better than Duke to look their way. If that's the best that your OL class has, of course you'd expect a I-AA school to come away with some players that were All-State and Top 50 recruits. Had Juan Williams graduated in 2002, he would be nowhere near that Top 50 list.

First, I posted that link to show you how retarded you look when you say that MS had a poor quality of players.

I already proved to you a few post ago that i never said such a thing and that A&t even went to MS to recruit an all star JUCO player this year. You are once again making things up to help your lame points. You are the only person here who made any comments on one states quailty vs another state's quailty. I already said that my previous statement was only in reference to your 160 lb, first team/ second team all state running back.

Please post where I ever said such a thing or retract that lie immediately.

Secondly, what does support that claim is that your top O-Linemen in 2004 couldn't get a school better than Duke to look their way. If that's the best that your OL class has, of course you'd expect a I-AA school to come away with some players that were All-State and Top 50 recruits.

That is an asinine statement also. If you would have took the time to look closer you would have seen that a O-linemen ranked a few places behind Juan Williams signed a 1-A scholarship with Auburn. Is that big enough for you?

I guess that renders that whole line of arguement kinda pointless too now, huh?
