Correction: Small signed FOUR first team all state O-linemen, not three

Hey 06, go ahead and post "uh, ya see... uhh, what I meant was...my bad...uhhh, but my point still remains that..." over here------->

Your lying azz has just lost all credibility.

BTW: Next time you decided to make up some phony honor for your players and downgarde another guiys honors it might be a good idea not to include a link that has the accurate information. Azz clown.

foot...........mouth

So, now you are using one list to suport some claims and another list to support others. Based on this particular article (which you just posted for the first time) none of your O-linemen would be considered all state material.

And by using your same reasoning, wouldn't my ap NC all state list hold more credibilty now since it includes all four also?

BTW: This list says it was complied by one writer who just had conversatitions with area coaches.

The 27th annual All-State football team was selected by Bill Spencer of The Clarion-Ledger after conversations with high school and college coaches in Mississippi.

It does not even say that he watched all of these players himself. If anything the MAC list is compiled by the coaches themselves who see these players first hand. My AP list is complied by all the newspaper beat writers in the state who cover HS football as their fulltime job. That would seem like a more legit pool of voters for an all state team than just one guy making phone calls.

The question is why would you refer to the other list sometimes and this list at other times. Because you will do anything to try to strength your lame argument, that's why.

Now, I can kinda understand why you are so cycnical about all-state lists. You state seems to have about five of them and only one clown determinees the clarion-ledger one. In NC, they have only one all state list that carries weight; the AP all state list. If you are first team on that, chances are, you definitely legit.

Dude, you can rationalize it however you want to. I don't get into the business of posting All-State lists b/c they don't mean a thing to me when it comes to evaluating a recruit or recruiting class. Each team is going to be different b/c people will have a different opinion of who had the best seasons. To a certain extent, you can say that these lists are opinionated.

I would have never posted any C-L All-State listings if you wouldn't have been going around talking about "credibility" and "where's your proof?". But since you were so hellbent on this argument, you'll just continue to post random links to Rivals and rationalize everything until I shut up. So that's what I'll do. I posted the MAC lists to mock you. Didn't know that you would get so desperate to win a debate that you'd spend countless hours studying and analyzing them to try to find an angle in this argument.

Bottom line is: I don't believe in using All-State lists to evaluate talent, so if you want to woo me with your recruits, you'll have to try a different method.

Don't dodge the question. You would make a horrible politician, BTW.

You know otherwise that "these guys" got no heavy interest. Where's your proof of that, son?

I just looked back at the MAc list you posted because I couldn't believe. A 160 olb guy was voted first team all state. I just couldn't believe that MS was that sorry when it came to quailty RBs.

BTW: I hope you realize that a lot of your points have been contradicted now that you unvieled the other list.

Dude, I could care less if you are wooed are not. I posted this list to inform you all of the juggarnaut Small is assembling in Greensboro. If you choose not to take heed then that is your choice.

Check back with me in 2005 and you will see what the Great Wall of Greensboro is doing to the competition. Until then, continue being a jealous cynic all you want.

Hey son, why does it take you two, three or four posts to reply? Are you trying to get that post count up or are you :retard: ?

Uh dude, this is the 2004 recruiting season, not 2003. Is this why you were claiming that Nc had a down year this year, because of the number of 1-A players signed in 2003?

Please tell me this is not your rationale. Once again you are using any random piece of info you can find to try and prove your lame points.

You've spend way too much time trying to rationalize, analyze, and yes...lie your way into developing this argument to support your strange, and incompentent idealogy, but it has failed. So, before you loose all pride and respect for yourself, please just leave the board and tuck your tail so that it wont get chooped off! :smash:

See ya later Borndumb! :wavey:

No, you know it's a down year in your state when the top 3 OL in a class go to Duke, Tulsa and I-AA........did that happen in NC this year?

You said that MS had a poor quality of athletes, so I showed you a recent article that showed that MS produced 13 more I-A signees than NC despite having less than half of the population of NC.

It's no use, bruh. If this dude hasn't left since last Sept. he'll be here for a minute! EVERBODY LOVES THE SWACPAGE!!

You said that MS had a poor quality of athletes

There you go making up things again to prove your lame points. Please post where I said that. A&T recruited a JUCO all star player out of MS this season. I never said MS as a state had poor quality of athletes.

What I said was that I couldn't beleive the running backs in MS would so sorry that a 160 Lb guy would be named first team all state. Obviously, the MAC coaches agreed with me.

Your lying azz has just lost all credibility.

Speaking of credibility, remember when you posted this:

bornthrilla said:
? Juan Williams, OL (6-3, 291, 5.1) Garner HS, Garner ? Williams is a powerful blocker who manhandles defensive linemen. A two-year starter at offensive tackle for Garner, Williams gained his first Division I offer from East Carolina last week.

Then I asked you what happened to the Va. Tech's and Miami's and you said this:

bornthrilla said:
You moron, that article was from a ECU website so of course it would only refer to ECu and who they offered a schoalrship to.

And I showed you this guy's write-up from the same article?

J-State_Tiger06 said:
? George Bell, RB (5-11, 225, 4.4) Jack Britt HS, Fayetteville ? Bell has made great progress recovering from a serious knee injury. If not for the injury, he probably would be the top-ranked prospect in the state this season. Bell runs with great power, but has the speed to break long runs, too. Offers include ECU, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State and Virginia Tech.

Do you remember that? So were you just lying here, or did your comprehension ability fail you once again?

For real, man, just shut up, now. You have stooped to lying and making farfetched rationalizations. Just give it up dude. It's been damn near a week and I'm still not impressed with your class.

And as my granddaddy would say, "I don't think your elevator goes all the way up to the top".:lmao:

LOL @ BT lying his azz off.

In 2003, dude. All those stats refer to 2003. This is 2004.

Well if you are going back in time to 2003, why not go back just one more year to 2002 when NC was ranked #10 in the nation. That's not recent enough for you?

OK, well fine. You still get my point. Could I say the same about NC and it's crop of OL this year? I mean only one signs with a BCS school (if you want to call Duke a true BCS school)? Out of close to 6 million people, not one kid could garner a legit offer from a Top 25 school.

I'll let you go back and retink this before I show you how stupid you sound. You are on the clock.

Ummmmmmm, Borndumb, how long have I been saying that talent in NC hasn't been what it once was in recent years? That argument helps me not you. You see, I know what NC is capable of in a typical year, but NC has been on the downslide in recent years......were you signing All-State guys back then? And even if you were it would not help Small's case, so please don't go pulling up archives saying, "look at this!".

Thrilla, I think you should admit defeat on these grounds. Obviously a NC first team o-linemen would not make the list in most other states, including MS. That must be why your classes are always full of highly touted players and they suck. Remind Bell never to go to NC for a recruit.

OK. The best OL in the entire state of NC in 2004 garnered offers from....drumroll please...................Duke, Wake Forest, Tulsa, Vanderbilt and NCA&T. Oh yeah, and ECU!:D

Not even a Clemson, so I'll go out on a limb and say: The NC 2004 OL Class Sucks!!!
Dude, So. Car. came all the way to MS to sign an OL before they passed thru neighboring NC.......need I say more?

Man, you know that a top NC o-lineman does not want to play for some sorry SEC school. NC State is even too smalltime for those ballers!! They want to play for Duke!!

Po BT.

Po A&T, :shame: Well, back to the drawing board Smalls! :p

Say Thrilla what's your comeback gonna be

Even though this entire argument is inane, I'll jump in.

If "Duke, Wake Forest, Tulsa, Vanderbilt and NCA&T. Oh yeah, and ECU!" offered anybody from the jsu signing class, you'd have zero signees. jsu couldn't beat anybody on that list and has proven it.

jsu has taken a talented qb/tennis signee and turned him into a colorblind inaccurate shell of his former self. Recruits see this and therefore they stay away. Recruits see a hard-worker loyal jsuer was sent off on his azz by a carpetbagger and replaced with a negra boy from Arkansas with no ties to the school over several more qualified candidates with links to jsu. They ask "what is the worth of a jsu degree? I already have this corn husk, I don't need no toilet paper."

That's why you end up with 160 pound running backs for your smashmouth offense. That's why you'll end up 2-9. But then, that's better than 2-10.

Ummmm, BT, one of your lackeys has gotten out of his cage. Come and send him back to Meacfans.

Oh, and Doody, do you think all of those schools (Duke, Vandy, Tulsa etc.) offered guys that signed with A&T? Let me remind you that these are the offers that the top NC O-Linemen received.........not the top A&T signees. All you beat out on that list was lowly ECU....not Duke, not Vandy, not Tulsa, nor Wake Forest. I normally don't respond to second-tier smackers, but that's a lesson to you on the house.
Now back in the cage you go!------------------------>
