The only one that really has done something is Chang but lets be real JSU doesn't have the horses he had at Hawaii. Lets be real. Just because someone coaches in professional leagues doesn't mean they will be successful on the collegiate level. Look at Stump, he didn't do anything at SU, it took Doug years to win, he did nothing at Morehouse but his first stint at Grambling he was very successful because he had the right people around him but his second stint he just selected anyone for the most part and look at the results he got, the only proven one is Chang, the head coach has a losing coaching record, you may get sensitive over my statements but just being real. Post what your coach and his staff have done as far as coaching on the college level and the records of the teams then you will see a little bit more of the picture. JSU doesn't have the caliber of players these folks had in professional leagues and Hawaii.

LOL. ya'll keep trying to harp on that.. Yeah we won one title. Heck SU one one title in that time too but that title does not say how much they sucked ALL of those other years. The bottom line is that the last four years under Comegy, JSU had the second most wins and the second best program in ALL of BCF. The only program that was better was BCU. You beat us 1 time in the last 7 years and you want to hide the fact by talking about a SWAC title. We also went to the SCG 4 our of the last 8 years and we FIRED our coach for it. Your program does not compare to ours.

You could have won three? JSU lost two in OT and we lost our first one 31-30. We could have won 4...but we didn't.

You're a LIAR. :lol: :emlaugh: S.U. has won 3 titles since AAMU joined the league. Stop trying to change the subject. They have the same amount of football championships as jsu period since joining the league. jsu athletics is no better than AAMU. I believe there is a correlation between how badly jsu is doing nowadays and AAMU joining the confererence. However folks from the boot called jsu Buffalo long before AAMU joined the SWAC. :lol: :emlaugh:

All those numbers and all those stats and the fact remains...since AAMU has entered the SWAC:

JSU 1 SCG
Bama State 1 SCG
AAMU 1 SCG


everything else is irrelevant....

So none of the other years are to be acknowledged AT ALL?! Dude, you're ignoring those years because your records were pathetic. You just want to talk about the one year AAMU had that was decent. You're wiping seven years of AAMU's history out of the books just to focus on one year?
I'd rather look at the totality of what our team has done at least over the last half decade.
Simply put, 6-1 is FAR better than 1-6. Do you not agree?
To say EVERYTHING else is irrelevant is shortsighted indeed.

Ok let's flip it..you mean to tell me that JSU can beat AAMU 6 times out of 7 and still only win 1 SCG? That means losing to JSU is very irrelevant and JSU's program is still no better than Bama St., AAMU, or we can add Pine Bluff, Prarie View, & Texas Southern for that matter since they too like JSU has won 1 SCG since AAMU has entered.

Now back to the topic of this thread, much respect to Coach Spady for reaching out in areas that haven't been reached in sometime. The future of AAMU football is in good hands.

Well, if I went ten years without winning a title with five straight losing seasons, I'd understand your pain.
Since you want to intervene, AAMU's been much better than su over the last half decade or so.
