"My dick is bigger than yours" Please give it a rest guys....let jsu do jsu!

How are you going to say that and some of the JSU faithful are ones that came in this thread hating like JSU people usually do just jump on the train not knowing what the hell is going on lol

Come on Fiyah, it's the "down" part of the year so we have to talk about something, even if it boils down to a tight ends coach and Kaepernick.:emlaugh:

if a Grad assistant can get credit for an NFL qb then a tight ends coach can be responsible for a qb.

Put your staff coaching experience u against ours.... you talking about what these folks did as players.... give me COACHING
Experience!

Btw... our OC has been a head college coach, high school coach, assistant head coach at university of Cincinnati. ..and OC at two other universities. He has been coaching football longer than Chang been living.... BTW he wasa grad assistant at Michigan... so we will say he called plays there too lol

DaHill.. care to post the smalltime colleges he coached at?

...and then you have people like Willie Totten. WOW! They only have experience at being mediocore.

But more than anything else.. ya'll ain't Jackson State.

It's called "Trolling..."

Who is trolling? Coming from Grambling, you should have some perspectives on things. I recall when everyone thought PV was on the right track a few years ago but we have seen teams come and we have seen teams go. I told them back then that they had no idea on how to build a foundation of a program. The same goes for AAMU. You can't try to get into the game 40 years late and try to compete by having practices at local high schools. They act like they just invented something... but that's because they ain't used to nothing. It's sorta sad really.

This is exactly where the trolling started

yada yada yada....

Jim Caldwell gave rave reviews on ****
Im sure lots of people gave good reviews on Stump too....
...ya'll listening to Cooper now? :lmao:

Ya'll acting like ya'll won something and this staff has barely had practice. :smh: Act like ya'll used to something.. sheesh!

A few weeks ago, people were acting like a celebrity golf tournament was the best thing since sliced bread... now we talkin about camp? Really?

Some people will make a argument out of anything just to do it.
Amen

Might as well change it to Train Trolling. lol
Too much trolling if you ask me. There used to be an ignore poster feature. Does it still work?

Sometimes you just can't take the BS. It didn't matter if it was your school or another, i would have posted the truth. Recall a few weeks ago how people thought a celebrity golf tourney at Langston was the best idea of the millenium? Sometimes, some sense simply needs to be invoked.

Was it trolling to bring up james b*ll and JSU in an AAMU thread but you accusing some JSU posters? You guys see what you wanna see and don't see what you don't wanna see but that's to be expected.

Damn its some sensitive people on this here page I tell ya. People take things the wrong way, if your opinion doesn't resemble theirs its called trolling :(

Ya'll can't touch our staff... PERIOD.. UAB.. really? :lmao:

Harold Jackson – Head Coach - 5 time Pro Bowl NFL player. Former FBS and UFL Assistant and JSU alum.
Derrick Burroughs – Defensive Coordinator/Secondary/Asst HC- Former NFL player with Buffalo Bills and former Head Coach at Lane College.
Timmy Chang – Offensive Coordinator/QB – Record setting college QB from Hawaii, former assistant at SMU
Paul Spicer – Defensive Line - 11 year UFL/NFL Defensive end, former Jacksonville Jaguars Assistant DL Coach
Tommy Poynter – Offensive Line - Former SMU Offensive Lineman and former SMU assistant coach
Antonio Knight – Special Teams/Recruiting Coordinator –Standout defensive player at Tuskegee, former LB coach at JSU
Derrick McCall – Wide Receivers – Former Offensive Coordinator at JSU and Shaw. Former JSU QB for early 1980s championship teams.
Robert Lyles – Linebackers – Former NFL Linebacker with Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons. Recently linebackers coach at Army
Destry Wright – Running Backs - Former standout JSU running back.
Rickey Porter – Director of Football Operations - Former director of player development for the New Orleans Saints

This post shows that you don't know football but many have overlooked it. Majority of what you posted is more about the assistant coaches and the head coach personal accomplishments and not their coaching resume with the exception of a couple. The only one that really has done something is Chang but lets be real JSU doesn't have the horses he had at Hawaii. Lets be real. Just because someone coaches in professional leagues doesn't mean they will be successful on the collegiate level. Look at Stump, he didn't do anything at SU, it took Doug years to win, he did nothing at Morehouse but his first stint at Grambling he was very successful because he had the right people around him but his second stint he just selected anyone for the most part and look at the results he got, the only proven one is Chang, the head coach has a losing coaching record, you may get sensitive over my statements but just being real. Post what your coach and his staff have done as far as coaching on the college level and the records of the teams then you will see a little bit more of the picture. JSU doesn't have the caliber of players these folks had in professional leagues and Hawaii.

Yeah, that's their favorite words these days. They'd be more accurate if they called it censorship,

:confused::confused:
ASU didn't play well, Missed 3 FGs. The final score was 31-7. :scared:
If that's "every chance to beat" us, then congrats.

The final score was not indicative of the play on the field. ASU just scored a few points late to make the wide margin in points. The game was fairly close, we had the time of possession, and if we had not made those turnovers deep in our territory and had capitalized on them, the outcome of the game may have been different.

Every year ASU says it played badly. By now, it should be obvious that is not State's bad play, but AAMU's defense that has ASU's number. I believe we win whenever our offensive play is decent because our defense usually ramp down on State's offense.

The Hornets were penalized 16 times for 136 yards, lost the time of possession battle, missed a field goal and had another blocked.

But Alabama A&M played much worse, committing three turnovers, including an interception and two lost fumbles, one of which occurred on the 1-yard line, and ASU rolled to a 31-7 victory in the 72nd Annual State Farm Magic City Classic presented by Coca-Cola at the historic Legion Field. ...

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2013/10/2-minute_drill_alabama_state_3.html#incart_river

ASU wide receiver Earl Lucas, who snagged a 39-yard touchdown reception from Duhart to make the score 21-0 with 14:13 remaining led the Hornets with five catches for 94 yards and Bell added three catches for 83 yards and a touchdown.

KEY MOMENT: The Bulldogs yielded an 84-yard, five-play scoring drive at the end of the first half, enabling Alabama State to take a 14-0 lead into halftime. A 7-0 deficit might not have been insurmountable. A team that had scored but 94 points in seven previous games wasn't going to get two TDs against the Hornets without divine intervention.

That's not accurate by a longshot. Coaching records don't always tell the story. Look at Comegy. He went 0-22 at Cheney State before going on to Central State and Tuskegee where he won titles at both schools.
It's because he didn't have the resources to work with while he was at Cheney State.
On the flip side, look at what Doug did at Grambling. He left with a winning record but when he came back, he lost miserably eventhough he had the same financial resources to work with.

AAMU has never been a football powerhouse so it's against all odds that this Spady guy will make them one. Nobody knows until we actually see it.
What I'm saying is, usually when a school has a history of consistently winning, they'll continue winning.
I look for Grambling to eventually right it's ship because of their long history of winning.
JSU coaches have both the resources and players to win, so they'll be competitive, but AAMU is still a huge question mark.
I base this on their history, their resources and the caliber of players they've recruited in the past.

It's not all about one's past coaching record at a certain school but it's more about the resources and caliber of players one has at his current school as well as that school's history.

Since AAMU has competed in the SWAC...

JSU 1 SCG
Bama State 1 SCG
AAMU 1 SCG

I know you will hate to admit it. You can call it B.S. if you want. But the "truth" as Tigerpride put it, JSU these days is no better than anyone else.

Post the entire story dude. You exclude the fact that in head to head matchups over the last seven years, JSU is 6-1 over AAMU.
JSU has won the East division title four times in eight years.
JSU has had the best SWAC record over the past six years.
Fact of the matter is over the last six years, JSU has been more consistent and competitive than any school in the SWAC.
Of course Comegy should've won more titles while coach, but he did keep an overall consistent product on the field. With a few calls here and there, JSU could easily have three or four SWAC titles.
I'd at the least would rather have a chance to win titles than none at all.

How many SWAC title games has AAMU been in? I could say the same thing... we could have won 3.... why are you stopping at the last 6 years?

You used to be an Eastern Division rival. It's just that you don't have any fans so the term rival carries little weight vs you all.

TP so now you saying we USED to be your eastern division rival? when did this happen???

like I said if you aint Skegee or Bama State you not A&M rival...and since you wanna bring some "fans" into it our fans get up for TU and ASU everytime we play

So you admit your fans only get up for two games out of 11? Hmmm, interesting admittance.
