Only the 1AA schools in the OVC, Southern, Southland Conference, etc are allowed to schedule these game$. (National champ Fla played Western Carolina last season, Ga Tech played Samford, The Citadel played Tx A&M, UGA played Western Ky and on and on and on

But we're in the SWAC and we might lose or we might get hurt or any benefit we would get from these games might be "null and void" :scared:

I've crawled back to "Our SWACWORLD".
What's the point of even discussing it or BRAGGIN' bout how tough this conference is.

I'm :lol: at that one even if it come from JSU posters from now on.:smh:
All I need to know is are we good enough to beat 7 SWAC teams a year plus one in the SCG.

It is smart for the big 1-A's to do this. They get an extra home game and money from 80K fans for a scrimmage. I guess there are not enough Troy State's to go around. Again, since we are sssssssssooooooo excited about taking these azz whoopins, why don't 8 of us go 1-A and play 7 1-A HBCUs and get paid to take FIVE of these azz whoopins per year. I am sure they will be happy to get the new booty if we move up. We may even go 7-0 in conference, end up with a 7-5 record and get to go into a Bowl game for ANOTHER azz whoopin!!

actually, I'd be down for most of that plan. move up. win a conference championship, win a bowl game against troy or someone like that and continue to build. the catholics have notre dame. and before you laugh at that keep in mind, the swac is 1-0 in bowl games. grambling beat temple in the tokyo bowl in 1977 and finished the year 9-1-1 and unofficially ranked as high as #12 in the country. but, alas, many of you are content to be 2nd class in everything and best at nothing.
