I want to say there is a law. However all you would see is the person get off based on making the call in "good faith". It's a rule to protect thsoe who call say CPS on a family or report something they thought was illegal.

Huntsville police use to bring dogs out back in the late 80's early 90's when something happened at AAMU back in the day. Well the did until 1990 when this dude from Detroit got bit and he turned around and bit the hell out of the German Shepard back. Man that dog hollered like a hooker getting Holy water sprayed on her. Lol He literally fought that dog back like another dog. The dog jumped at him and he went up under the dog in the air and some how got it down and was wearing that dog out. Lol that's why they try to charge you now😂

Protesters in Bristol, England, toppled a statue of slave trader Edward Colston, whose company transported tens of thousands of slaves across the Atlantic Ocean between 1672 and 1689, and threw it into the city’s harbor.

Virginia will remove a statue honoring Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in the city of Richmond "as soon as possible," Gov. Ralph Northam announced Thursday.

"Today, we're here to be honest about our past and talk about our future," Northam said, adding: "We have to confront where we've been in order to shape where we're going."

The statue will be placed into storage, where it will remain until government leaders and the community can discuss its future, according to the governor.

"In Virginia, for more than 400 years, we have set high ideals about freedom and equality," Northam said, "but we have fallen short of many of them."

The statue will be removed from Richmond's Monument Avenue, which is lined with effigies of Confederate generals. Of all the monuments, Lee's looms the largest — and unlike the others, it is owned by the state, a six-story monument on a 100-foot island of land that the state also owns.

President Donald Trump's comments and federal response to the recent George Floyd protests encouraged more people to demonstrate this weekend, Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser said on ABC's "This Week."

Speaking from Washington, Bowser told Co-anchor Martha Raddatz, "What Americans saw was federal police forces tear gassing peaceful Americans, and how they responded made clear to the president that Americans would exercise their first amendment rights and they will do it peacefully."

Protests that began in Minneapolis over Floyd's death in police custody on Memorial Day expanded to cities around the world, with some in the U.S. turning violent and destructive. Governors in 32 states and Washington, D.C., have activated more than 32,400 members of the National Guard.

Our history is full of criminals and criminal activity (we wouldn't have become a country or world power without it). All of the Founding Fathers of this country were criminal and would have been hanged if they had been caught.

Prosecutor says man who drove through Virginia protesters is a KKK leader

HENRICO, Va. (WWBT/WHSV) — Police say a Virginia man has been arrested after driving through a group of protesters Sunday evening.

On June 7 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Henrico County police received a call about an incident that occurred during a protest walk on Lakeside Avenue, near Vale Street.

According to police, an adult victim had stopped to report the incident near the AP Hill Monument.

Witnesses said a vehicle revved its engine and drove through a group of peaceful protesters occupying the roadway.

The victim was checked by first responders at the scene for minor injuries and refused any further treatment. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.

Police in Shorewood, Wisconsin, said a 64-year-old woman was arrested for the second time in two days on June 7 for allegedly pushing a person protesting at her house over an incident the day before in which she allegedly spat at a black teenager.

The earlier incident occurred when the woman allegedly interrupted an anti-racism protest in Milwaukee with her car and became engaged in an altercation with protesters. Video shows her appear to spit in the direction of a young male.

Police said the woman had been arrested and booked over this incident, but that, “due to the Milwaukee County Jail’s current policies pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to take her to the Milwaukee County Jail.”

Symbolic changes mean shit.

It's the threat of burning this whole thing down that leaders respond to. History has shown that. I know we have a lot of people who believe that the only way to change things is to go to the polls, but playing within the system has proven not to be the answer.

A wave of global protests in the wake of Floyd's fatal arrest magnified attention on the 2016 death in French police custody of Adama Traore, a 24-year-old black man, and renewed controversy over claims of racism and brutality within France's police.

The country's police watchdog said on Monday it had received almost 1,500 complaints against officers last year -- half of them for alleged violence.

Seeking to take serious action after a string of protests in recent days, Interior Minister Christophe Castaner announced the chokehold method "will be abandoned".

"It will no longer be taught in police and gendarmerie schools. It is a method that has its dangers," he said in a televised press conference, while stressing he would pursue a policy of "zero tolerance" for racism in law enforcement.
