The officer's partner suddenly stops handcuffing the suspect, thinks, realizes what's happening, recognizes another George Floyd in the making, lifts his partner's knee from the suspect's neck, and, once suspended, the knee turns and falls on the suspect's back.

WASHINGTON – Former President Barack Obama on Wednesday urged every mayor in the country to review use-of-force policies by law enforcement and commit to report on any needed changes.

“What are the specific steps you can take?” Obama asked in a livestreamed discussion of police reform sparked by the deaths of George Floyd and other African Americans that have triggered waves of protest around the country.

Most of the changes needed, he said, have to take place at the local level.

"Let's go ahead and start implementing those," he said. "We need mayors, county executives, others who are in positions of power to say this is a priority."

While urging action, Obama also sent a message of hope to Americans disturbed and disheartened by recent events, especially young people of color.
 
White liberals are protesting Trump. Keep believing they are protesting police brutality with Blacks and if Biden is elected they will make a fool out of you.

Actual Kamala is right.

You can't change just one thing. You have to change MULTIPLE things. YOu can start with Trump but make sure you houseclean Congress, Governor's office, State's Congress, Mayor's office, city council and school boards.

Then you start with these businesses. because while it's CUTE to see the going black and posting statements-I want to see CHANGE.

Archie Comics-since 2009 have been HORRIBLE with the treatment of POC in comics.

So after greatly accelerating the militarization of police and signing a blue lives matter bill, Obama trots out to beautifully say nothing of substance to quell dissent. It's a reason the BLM movement was launched under his administration.
