1. Even if they were tested prior to the meeting/photo, it doesn't reduce the risk of exposure, particularly if they were eating in a public place around others. And just because someone gets a negative result, doesn't necessarily mean they are COVID-free. There are documented instances of people getting a negative result one day and testing positive days later. The White House superspreader event this summer is an example of that.
2. I do know what happened prior to the photo. The caption says it all. They were eating and laughing (per Deion) either inside a residence or restaurant. The last time I checked, that can't be done while wearing masks. Everyone in that setting was at a high risk of being exposed.
3. Yes, I'm saying everyone, including Deion Sanders, has social responsibility in navigating this pandemic. That means we all have to move differently and adjust our behaviors accordingly. There is a reason the CDC advised against everything from traveling to gathering indoors without masks with anyone, not in your immediate household. There is a reason cities have either shut down or reduced capacity in restaurants and bars and gyms. Deion has millions of followers on social media. He has a large platform. He's respected. If people see him hanging out with folks at restaurants, some will naturally believe it's OK and safe to do, too when it isn't under the best of circumstances.
A lot of people are doing -- have done -- everything possible to pull of a season. And we've seen how one slip up can impact a team and even entire leagues and conferences. So, yeah, that dude has got to be careful where he goes and who he interacts with.
