So su, when yall gone play McNeese? All of this yapping and gloating about sidebar facility talk don't mean jack. Give them their return game and may the better team win.
Now it's quite obvious that ULL is afraid to play McNeese, so instead of admitting that McNeese is the better team, they resort to focusing on anything BUT the game. That alone speak volumes. su please don't follow in ULL's steps. Ooops....to late.

I guess since McNeese is considered one of those lower tier PWC's, Southern is easier for you to criticize. I'm sure you never considered attending LSU or ULL.

Oh, wow!! That's the equivalent of asking a Southern fan if they ever considered attending Grambling??

Doc

Y'all are trying way too hard! LOL...

And since Southern can't say a legitimate WORD to McNeese about the on-field product, y'all think you're gonna use USL to get to me, LOL..

Honestly, if you had a pair of LSU's game tickets and pair of McNeese's game for the same time and date, which tickets would you sell and which tickets would you keep?

Personally, I would sell both of them, to put a little cash in my pocket.

Getting ducked by LSU isn't the same as getting ducked by USL...LSU ain't skeered...

But, I do feel ya on that one...It makes sense for LSU to play McNeese, Southern and Grambling...when we played them, it was - at the time - the largest crowd to ever see an LSU game at home. We brought more fans than any of the SEC squads....except, maybe, Ole Miss...You guys would bring even more than that...as would Grambling....even at 400K, they basically get the game for free because we'd sell more tickets than would be necessary to cover the guarantee....

Your fans were probably already going to the LSU game. It was just icing on the cake that your team was who LSU was playing that night. LOL

Didn't McNeese change the time of a home game so that the fans could watch an LSU game?

They probably have more kids walking around McNeese's campus wearing purple and gold instead of blue and gold. :emlaugh:

You are talking to a diehard McNeese fan here. I definitely sell the LSU tickets. As far as the McNeese tickets, I do have two season tickets that I usually give away because I have a media pass and am on the sidelines taking photos.

I did sell my season tickets once when Grambling came to town in 2002. There was a long line of Grambling fans waiting in line to try to buy tickets for the game. I mentioned I had two tickets to sell and I thought I was going to start a bidding war. The Grambling fans were astounded when I sold the tickets at face value to the first Grambling fans that had indicated they were interested.

Typical Southern fan...more worried about fashion, fabric and color than what's on the field...

By the way, those Jaguar skinned pumps match your purse incredibly well...;)

I did say for you to be honest, but I understand.

McNeese traditionally plays at night at home no matter when LSU plays. We have had some home day games but that is usually for TV broadcast purposes or playoff games.

I can't speak for Doc, but I've only been to ONE LSU game, ever. And that's when McNeese played there, which is the ONLY reason for me to go to an LSU game...

McNeese fans are passionate about our program. It's a pride and honor thing...which is why you don't understand ;)

Damn!! I'm had to double check because I thought I had stumbled into the Smack forum while reading this string.

That's because they are accustom to tea bagging better programs. ULL basically told them to release their gonads. :emlaugh:

When I was in dental school in the 70's, we made the trip up from New Orleans to LSU games because I had a student ID. Since then, I went to 1 LSU game (not counting the one McNeese played in) in the early 80's. It was an open date for McNeese. Sat somewhere in the then new upper deck on the westside and hated it. Since then, it has been McNeese only. I do watch LSU on TV sometime but I never let it interfere with my attending McNeese games.

Get out of here man McNeese has no pride. Why else would you all be begging ULL and Southern U for games? I don't expect you to answer the question honestly since both programs stepped on your pride and told you at some point in time, thanks but no thanks. :emlaugh:

I know you all have had issues with LSU also since they kicked you all out of their system a long time ago and basically told you all to put on your big boy pants. A lot of you McNeese guys say this and that about LSU but make sure all of your doors are locked, close all of the curtains and make sure you don't miss a LSU football game. :smh:  :emlaugh:

Enough with ULL and LSU. Where do the UAPB fans live on this board? What do they think about the upcoming game? What is the deal with their dozen or so players who couldn't play last week? Will they be back to play against us?

I spent a month in Pine Bluff, Ark once evacuated for Hurricane Rita. Actually, it was 10 days in a Super 8 hotel but felt like a month. There wasn't anything to really do there and the highlight of the trip was going to Walmart at 2am when they were unloading a truck to buy as many gas cans as we could to fill up and bring back home for generator use. I swore I would never go back there to stay. :D

I sort of freak out when I heard we scheduled UAPB because I thought it might be a home and home situation and I might have to go back there, but they quickly told me it was a one game deal. :D

You aren't going to bait me into the LSU and ULL thing. I don't care one way or another if we play them or not. I have fun going to McNeese games no matter who we play.

Telling the truth is not smack. Now go find some Golden Lions to talk to. There are a few roaming this site, but I'll have to warn you, there's a female Golden Lion on here that knows how to handle situations pretty well. I've seen her eat folks alive without putting any seasoning on them.

I like what this McNeese Alum had to say:

USLttarP: As a McNeese alum and die-hard LSU fan, this is an awesome thing.

Shows how the ability to support two teams (on different levels) is good for our state in the long run. The McNeese administration should be applauded for really "getting" their place on the radar and capitalizing on it when they can.

Good for them

They are just a McNeese Alum, but a diehard LSU fan. You know which school gets all of their money.
