Grambling's Updated 2011 Football Signee List

They all look like All-Americans on paper... but this appears to be a good class. Doug has a good man recruiting with him in Coach Andre Robinson as Recruiting Coordinator/Asst. Head Coach. Those two are gonna work well together... " I like that kinda carrying on"

Yes. I went to Baker lol, but my kin folks from up that way. SU never offered Hogan. Stump only signed kids with 3.0 or higher.

Way to go Stump... I like SU taking that approach. At least yall will have kids smart enough to figure out why they are getting their azz kicked.

Hogan is tight with the kid that signed with ULM from the same area...

SU Jag Till I Die is telling the truth...things have changed big time over there

PVDog....We have our guys already....we had first crack at some of those kids on the list, especially the Houston ones, but opted to sign someone else...that list comes out 3 months after signing day and since football new is thin now, it stands out more than normal

Ceasar. I know him very very well also :) . That team was loaded. Alcorn got two of East Feliciana kids also, Joseph Robinson , who I think will play on the next level, along with Ceasar and Hogan. Also knew about that little recruiting trip they took to PV. Happen because of the relationship with Heish and Hogan's uncle who played together @ SU. Hogan also got his test score late. LSU wanted to place him in a JUCO. Glad he changed his mind and decided against that.

I wonder why they didn't put the transfers on the list?

I wanted Ceasar, Coach Andre Robinson wanted Ceasar, and I think Ceasar wanted Grambling... unfortunately he signed with Alcorn before the coaching change was made. I think we could have landed him if he would have known Doug was coming aboard.

Ceasar went to ULM. Ceasar dad play @ Grambling, but he wanted to chase the D-1 dream. Robinson and their lb(who's dad also played @ Gram) went to Alcron. Dont know if Doug could have gotten Robinson. Spears is really close to their family. But funny thing is , if SU would have offered I think we could have gotten them all except Ceasar.

And yes, we are gonna sign their qb too just as soon as he's a senior!

He is a rising junior, If Doug pulls that off, It would be huge for the conference. I think he is going to be a 5 star prospect. LSU is all over him, like white on rice. Never ever saw a QB with the ability to also start on the DLine and shut the other team down, single handed. Dude is the definition of a beast. He is McNair, country strong, has a rifle arm, and runs like a deer.

I played high school ball against his uncles... good guys but straight up Beast on the football field. One of the uncles (Carl Beckwith) was a 4 year starter at SU and was all-SWAC Guard.
