Grambling's Updated 2011 Football Signee List

I played high school ball against his uncles... good guys but straight up Beast on the football field. One of the uncles (Carl Beckwith) was a 4 year starter at SU and was all-SWAC Guard.
His older brother is a beast also, signed with Tulane and will be a sophmore this season. Wish he would have ended up @ a SWAC school also.

All I'm gonna say is we have heard recruit stories from almost every team in this conference ... doesn't mean much until they get on the field.

Good work though G-Men.

+1. Hope it works out well in Gram's favor though. DW and staff aren't bs'ing.

Never ever saw a QB with the ability to also start on the DLine and shut the other team down, single handed. Dude is the definition of a beast. He is McNair, country strong, has a rifle arm, and runs like a deer.

lol Ummmm... that's decently common these days JagTilUDead. :read: What isn't common is the ability for the FBSers to sniff them out and get them to sign. :read:

Not that I'd know anything about all that there. *whistling*

Dude was dominating like that as a sophmore. Thats unheard of especially a team starting their star QB on the D-Line. He really only started Dline in the big games.

All those Beckwiths are big ol boys...even the short ones have those thick chest and necks. All of them are country strong and just good people. Some of the best fun I had in my college/early adult years was drinking beer and eating chicken off the pit a the Beckwith's Tractor Barn out in the middle of the cotton fields back of Gilbert, La.

No, that's not unheard of. :emlaugh: Maybe you need to cross the red river more. :emlaugh:  :lmao: *thinking about 2 where one signed w/ OU in Feb and the other just committed to Rice Univ in March once his SAT scores were updated*

They are not bs'ing, they have been in South Louisiana all summer recruiting and Doug is holding clinics in the south louisiana region and heard he's holding a big one in north louisiana, not counting his camp at Grambling.

Which 2? That is very rare even in Texas.
