That one hurt lol.
Didn't his dad play quaterback for SU back in the day?
As far as I know, Anthony Carrothers who started last year and who finished the Spring game at #1 on the depth chart.
:lol:Just checking.....didn't know if he had transferred since the Father & Son duo was coming to town...
I respect Gram for is they do what they gotta do. They keep building year after year. That is what you call a program.
No his uncle played DB for SU. He family is full of Jags, but they are from the same community as Doug. Really nice pickup. He will be a impact player.
Texas receiver says adios
Timmons was a four-star receiver out of Hightower H.S. in the greater Houston area and was an Army All-American.
Grambling State is reported to be the frontrunner for Timmons as a new destination.

Doug Williams was down this way last week. He's already recruiting for next season. Seems like Grambling will separate itself once again and if they get that transfer from Texas that is BIG. This time they need to focus on building their fanbase back up, getting their finances up and make that move because with their legacy and history i believe they are one of the few that could do it. I know they got a running back Transfer from Tulane also so Grambling is just reloading.
All I'm gonna say is we have heard recruit stories from almost every team in this conference ... doesn't mean much until they get on the field.
Good work though G-Men.
